Technology & Innovation practice
Within the Consulting service line, our Technology & Innovation practice is at the cutting edge of innovation and transformation within the financial services industry. We leverage technology to solve complex business challenges, while helping our clients manage risk and improve their performance.
Our consultants work on the most relevant topics in the industry, such as: streamlining and digitalizing banking or insurance processes, implementing software packages for Core Banking, Risk Management or Insurance, developing solutions for real-time payments, optimizing regulatory reporting processes, and conducting IT and business assessments.
We are capable, passionate professionals who are excited about growing their careers by working on projects critical to the financial services sector, through roles such as Project Manager, Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Scrum Master, Product Owner, Technical Lead, etc.

The opportunity
We are currently looking to reinforce our team with junior Project Managers / Project Management Officers eager to step into a consulting role characterized by drive, leadership, and a significant impact on our clients' transformation journey. We hire on senior consultant and manager level.
As a PMO / Project Manager, you will be pivotal in supporting our core banking, core insurance or core risk transformation initiatives. Your involvement will ensure the coherence and efficiency of the transformation efforts: ensure the project keeps moving at all times; connect the dots; act proactively, be communicative. You will be responsible for tracking performance metrics, managing stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
With at least 1 to 6 years of relevant experience and a background in financial services, you’ll be an invaluable part of the teams and projects that redefine what's possible in financial services transformation.
This role is ideal for a driven individual with a strong ambition to grow their expertise and leadership skills.


Key responsibilities
Your responsibilities include:

  • Be the backbone of the team, aiding the team and the client in organizing themselves according to the best practices (Agile, Scrum, …)
  • Assist with developing scope narratives
  • Coordinate project requirements though the undertaking of meetings, scheduling of project activities, and transition schedules
  • Interact with teams in the development and coordination of project documentation and project implementation requirements
  • Help develop standard policies and procedures
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement and consultation processes and develop options and strategies for projects
  • Coordinate working groups and project teams, support in the development of project plans, identify and assess challenges, limitations and opportunities while mitigating risk to our clients
  • Ensure that client expectations and satisfaction are met or exceeded on all projects and the client’s best interests are represented
  • Support the development of an operational readiness plan and leads to success on day one of operations
  • Regularly report on project status by means of schedule updates, meeting minutes, financial records and other reports
  • Integrate people and activities (eg : dependency management, risk management…) to perform project work according to approved plan based on timing, scope and budget
  • Assist the project manager in reporting towards leadership by creating and implementing required dashboards and reporting

Required qualifications

  • Educational background: Hold a Master's degree in a relevant field (computer science, information system management, business or civil engineering, mathematics, applied economics, etc.)
  • Professional experience: Demonstrate 1 to 6 years of professional experience in consulting and/or the banking / insurance sector, showcasing a track record as Project Manager, PMO or Scrum Master
  • Key expertise:
    • Experience in supporting IT transformation or involvement in implementation of banking or insurance solutions. Understands and can explain the core processes involved in their area of support
    • Understanding of the Software Delivery Lifecycle, as well as experience with working in Agile teams
    • Use Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Jira or Azure DevOps and other relevant planning and backlog management software programs
    • Remains alert to new techniques for insights, analytics, and data visualization
  • Other skills:
    • Strong analytical skills, conceptual thinking, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
    • Outstanding client stakeholder management skills and ability to build relationships through solid communication and presentation skills
    • Strong team spirit, balanced by a healthy sense of autonomy; ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams both technical and business
    • Certifications such as Project Management Foundations (PMI) or Agile (Scrum, Product Owner), are a plus
  • Language proficiency: Fluent in either or both Dutch and French, complemented with a profound knowledge of business English
