The opportunity - Manager - Talent Consulting - Gurgaon

The Manager of Human Resources will play a pivotal role in steering the strategic initiatives within their cluster, fostering stakeholder partnerships, and leading organizational design and change management strategies. This individual will be instrumental in advocating for employees, enhancing engagement, and managing talent effectively. They will also ensure operational excellence and compliance while driving initiatives that contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Your key responsibilities

Stakeholder Partnership:

  • Lead the execution of strategic HR initiatives within the cluster, aligning with the company's vision and goals.
  • Facilitate organizational design and restructuring efforts to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement change management strategies to support the organization's evolution and growth.

Employee Advocacy and Engagement:

  • Develop and implement action plans based on PPS (People, Performance, and Satisfaction) and employee feedback.
  • Guide supervisors in managing teams, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Share best practices from across the wider organization with counsellors to enhance overall performance.
  • Promote well-being at work and ensure a healthy work-life balance for employees.
  • Conduct Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) in alignment with the ECHO Framework to gather insightful employee feedback.

Talent Management:

  • Coach counsellors and managers to build leadership capabilities and support career development.
  • Analyse performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement within the workforce.
  • Assist counsellors in addressing underperformance and developing strategies for improvement.
  • Drive meaningful actions based on insights from retention conversations.
  • Enable seamless integration of new joiners into the organization.

Operational Excellence and Compliance:

  • Ensure timely completion of HR processes for MSL/competency for a range of 1000-1500 employees.
  • Conduct employee mapping tailored to SSL (Strategic Service Line) requirements.
  • Lead audits for quality assurance and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  • Address medium-complexity workplace disputes and ensure legal compliance across HR functions.

Initiatives:

  • Lead location events or SL/SSL wide initiatives that contribute to a vibrant workplace culture.
  • Drive strategic imperatives that align with the organization's long-term objectives.
  • Contribute to process efficiencies and automation to streamline HR operations.
  • Drive team engagement and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Design and implement coaching interventions to enhance employee performance and development.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong understanding of HR functions, including talent management, employee relations, and legal compliance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Master's degree or HR certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
