EY GDS – AI Enabled Automation – Associate Director

As part of our EY-GDS D&A (AI Enabled Automation) team, we help our clients solve complex business challenges with the help of data and technology. We help clients drive efficiency, productivity, reduce risk and improve stakeholder experience through AI Enabled intelligent automation. We accelerate time to value for clients by helping discover opportunities in key sectors like TMT, Power & Utilities, GPS, HS&W, Retail, Manufacturing and Auto, Consumer & Financial Services.

The opportunity

We’re looking for Senior Manager/Associate Directors with strong technology and process redesign & automation understanding, having proven delivery capability and client experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm as well as a part of a growing Data and Analytics team.

Your key responsibilities

• Requires 14+ years minimum prior relevant experience.
• Oversee portfolio of automation projects at EY GDS, ensuring alignment to business objectives and strategy
• Lead delivery, maintenance and implementation of strategic automation initiatives
• Utilize expertise and leadership skills to plan, monitor, manage and/or support complex aspects of the data architecture process
• Responsible for building a world class technology team focused on next gen technology – Intelligent automation, cloud, AI / ML / GenAI
• Should have strong consulting background.
• Should have ability to consult CxO level audience in the client organization
• Should have proven credential to drive client conversations, participate in pre-sales activities, convert and promote EY value proposition in client organization
• Improve EY next gen automation capability by tracking emerging technologies; and by evaluating their applicability to business goals and operational requirements
• Anchor and build solutions and POV in the next gen technology areas
• Anticipate internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product or service improvements
• Identify areas within EY where process improvement / streamlining, automation, cloud thought leadership could be enhanced
• Define the end-to-end management vision aligned to the broader organization strategy and objectives
• Identify strategic links with other functions and geographies and builds partnerships with varied stakeholders, providing technical leadership and advisory services to the business

• Deep knowledge of next generation of automation technologies and have proven delivery experience in
  • Building solutions
  • Building capability and handling large teams and
  • Proven thought leadership
• Hands on knowledge with all across many of the following tech stack - process mining, conversation AL, RPA, LCNC, GenAI / Agentic AI
• Strong technical and hands on experience in building analytics applications
• Should have deep knowledge of complex solution architecting; have worked on various technologies, application space, data security and governance

• Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution, change management and client influencing skills
• Excellent communicator (written and verbal formal and informal).
• Ability to multi-task under pressure and work independently.

• 18+ years of experience in the industry with at least 5 years in a technology leader role
