Business Development Specialist German - Senior Associate

The opportunity

In order to make business development processes in EY more successful, we provide pursuit best practice services to our colleagues across service lines supporting numerous European countries.

As a team member, you will contribute to the development of our company and increase the chance of winning in the market by providing our stakeholders with the relevant materials, information and know-how they need for a successful proposal process.

Your key responsibilities

• Maintenance of SharePoint platform - creation of new subsites, their layout and navigation, maintenance of libraries, quarterly backups, rights management
• Upload of documents and certificates, tagging of the new content in backend and frontend as well as proper linking
• Research data on the intranet to regularly up-date documents and reports
• Transfer of documents into several formats, adjustment of proposals to templates, sanitization
• Quality check of content, incl. spelling and hyphenation in German and English
• Clear and concisely communication with internal professionals in German and English
• Processing ad hoc queries regarding pursuit services and documents
• Maintenance and further development of tools and platforms supporting pursuit processes
• Creation of reporting on site usage (monthly and yearly)

Skills and attributes for success

• You should be fluent in English (B1+) and German (C1+)
• Be comfortable working with global teams
• You should have extended technical understanding
• Take over the ownership for assigned tasks and be responsible for their quick and precise execution
• After detailed onboarding ability to work independently, with attention to detail and a proactive approach
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Affinity in working with power point, based on templates and willingness to develop in that field

To qualify for the role, you must have

• You should be fluent in English (B1+) and German (C1+) spoken and written
• Have outstanding technical skills
• Great communication skills

• Project organization skills
• Proactive mindset and initiative
• Motivation to become pursuits process specialist based on EY gold standard pursuit practices
• Willingness to explore and understand EY global innovation solutions to support pursuit initiatives

Technologies and Tools

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Affinity in working with power point, based on templates and willingness to develop in that field
• Willingness to upskill and learn on efficiency tools and technologies
