The opportunity
The Asia-Pacific Financial Services Organization (FSO) BMC Global Delivery Lead (Assistant Director) will help Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) program leaders and managers bring external and internal marketing and communications programs to life by understanding the EY business priorities & marketing communications strategies and ensuring their world-class execution and delivery. BMC programs will create measurable impact across APAC and locally in country markets, integrate across financial services sectors and deliver sustainable results. Multi-channel programs can include thought leadership reports and articles, web presence, social media, paid campaigns, events, media outreach, internal communications, webinars, email campaigns and other digital initiatives.

The relevant markets are Australia, Singapore, Greater China and Japan. This is a team leadership position of a team of 8 Global Delivery Services (GDS) personnel, based primarily in Manila, but may include India.

This role requires an experienced, energetic and resilient team leader and player with a good understanding of what it takes to deliver multi-channel marketing and communications programs in a complex environment and across diverse markets. Working closely in an agile team, the successful candidate will be required to deploy GDS team resources taking into account the capabilities of the team members and to successfully collaborate with onshore BMC and business stakeholders across full end to end delivery of programming.

This role is expected to spearhead a broad spectrum of BMC go to market and employee engagement operations and MarTech, from strategy, planning, to completion. From creating the timeline to working on different campaign channels like social media, digital, event and print to consolidating and analyzing the campaign performance along with excellent stakeholder management and team leadership skills.

Your key responsibilities
• Campaign management: Combine knowledge of project management, marketing and communication tactics, the EY business, and our client base, to oversee or create and maintain project plans for BMC’s flagship multi-channel campaigns (e.g. client deliverables, ads, social media, events etc.).
• Team leadership: Responsible for managing and inspiring a high-performing brand, marketing, and communications team. This includes setting clear goals and expectations, providing ongoing coaching and development, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture. You will oversee the allocation of tasks and projects, ensuring that team members are effectively utilizing their skills and expertise to achieve business objectives
• MarTech enablement: Champion the adoption of existing and new EY marketing technologies like marketing automation across all competencies of the team. Provide access to training and support to ensure team members are proficient in using these tools. Lead the strategic integration and optimization of marketing technology tools and platforms within global deployments. Ensure seamless integration of technology and platform solutions with existing systems and processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Analytics and measurement strategy: In conjunction with global specialist teams, oversee the development and execution of performance analytics frameworks with the help of metrics, planning and audience data to measure the effectiveness of BMC activities. Utilize data-driven insights to support decision-making and optimize marketing strategies. Provide guidance to marketing automation, social media and data analytics team resources to develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that ensures the collection, analysis, and utilization of accurate and actionable data. Establish data governance practices to maintain data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations. Lead the creation of regular reports and dashboards that provide clear and actionable insights into marketing and communications performance. Communicate key findings to senior leadership and stakeholders, highlighting opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Operational efficiency: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the team operations. Streamline workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and ensure that brand, marketing and communications activities are executed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Compliance hub of expertise: support onshore resources in all required EY firm compliance practices, liaising with multiple responsible internal teams of EY
• Ad hoc request management/execution: Support the BMC team in other administrative tasks related to programs.

To qualify for the role, you must have
• Graduate – bachelor’s degree in business administration, public relations, marketing, communications or related field preferred
• 5 to 8 years team management and leadership experience
• Campaign management skills and knowledge, hands-on marketing experience, organization and prioritization skills, and attention to detail. Ability to quickly build knowledge of the EY business, particularly the key priorities, structure, internal and external audience, core offerings and our clients’ issues and agendas across sectors and geographies globally.
• Manage resources on multiple campaigns/programs/digital channels under tight deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
• Outstanding written and oral communications, an aptitude to learn the organisation’s pattern of communication and our client’s motivation
• 12 -15 years of total B2B marketing experience in professional services or similar industries
• 10 years’ experience in end-to-end campaign management via multiple channels, from managing business requirement to implementation to analysis and all phases in between.
• Proven ability to manage complex processes and/or projects at a global level
• High level of networking, team building and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience or exposure to Adobe web platform, Adobe analytics/web trends/Google analytics, Sprinklr/Hootsuite, Sysomos, any eMail marketing tool, Google Adwords
• Experience with digital marketing analytics including analyzing digital ad and social media performance
• Ability to drive an agile team; independent and showing flexibility during peak times
• Team leader with a knack to motivate the team to deliver programs within a stipulated timeframe
• Ability to bridge any gap between the BMC expectations and the GDS capabilities
• Develop and apply creative solutions to complex issues
• Assert own ideas, gain support and commitment from executive level stakeholders and mobilize others to take action.
• Gather stakeholder feedback to generate meaningful, actionable information that helps drive change and campaign improvements.

Ideally, you’ll also have
• MBA with a major in Marketing or a MS (Marketing)
• Marketing analytics and digital marketing experience
• Experience of working within a B2B brand
• Events Execution experience is a plus
