Position summary

The Staff shall provide auditing, advisory services in the domain of Environment Health & Safety (EHS) Services including but not limited to - EHS management system, risk assessment, benchmarking, due diligence, data validations and other functions deemed necessary to support the EHS function.

The staff will be responsible for working closely with Seniors, Team leads, Managers and Seniors on client engagements. The role requires understanding of Environmental Health, Safety risk assessment, management systems, regulatory landscape, audit and analytical frameworks, to help clients succeed and navigate complex operating and regulatory environments, along with well-developed communication skills. The Staff will be based out of our Gurgaon / Bangalore / Mumbai / Kolkata/Hyderabad offices.

Primary responsibilities
• Execute the following EHS solutions using Global Delivery Services framework:
• EHS audits and assurance
• Hazard identification and risk assessment
• Maturity assessment
• Regulatory assessment and Gap analysis (OSHA/ UKHSE/ EPA/ WHS etc.,)
• Health and safety and/or environmental management system design
• Environment health & safety due diligence
• Well-versed in implementing EHS Management Systems ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Possess strong Health & Safety technical knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing global standards.
• Having experience in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) audits to evaluate operational compliance with legislative and corporate OHS requirements.
• Ensure quality in delivering client service by directing daily progress of assigned deliverables and informing supervisors of engagement status.
• Receive direction from the Assistant Manager, Manager, Senior Manager and Partner.
• Identify engagement and client service issues. Research and benchmark client data to industry data. Explain the client's critical success factors to the engagement team.
• Follow through on client requests in a timely fashion and manage expectations regarding the timing of deliverables and reports

Qualifications, skills, and experience

• Postgraduate degree in Environment/ Health & Safety/ Energy/ Sustainability or Bachelor’s in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/ Petroleum// Fire & Safety / Environment) from reputed institutes with a focus on environment and OH&S issues.
• 2–4 years of experience in EHS with reputed consulting firms, engineering firms or industries
• Preferably should understand relevant legislation, and regulations such as OSHA, UK HSE, EPA, ILO, WHS, NIOSH, ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation especially ISO45001 and ISO45003), and other relevant standards.
• Certified Internal Auditor on ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 would be preferable
• Certification in NEBHOSH IGC Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) / Associate Safety Professional (ASP) is an added advantage
• Internship/project experience with MNCs on EHS as part of their educational curriculum.
• Strong communication, presentation, and business writing skills
• Knowledge and experience in maintaining EHS management system
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills
• Ability and comfort level in researching client inquires and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies
• Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice, as necessary
• A curious mindset, strong desire to learn, grow and upskill.
• Exposure to Data analytics and visualization tools like Advanced Excel, PowerBI, and Tableau is an added advantage
