EY-Digital Risk – Business Continuity Management – Manager
As part of our Digital Risk Consulting, you will be a key member of the Digital Risk Team, delivering client engagements in Business Continuity Management and IT Disaster Recovery across various industries in the MENA region. This role involves working with diverse clients and collaborating with other consulting service teams.
The opportunity
We’re looking for Manager with expertise in Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework and IT Disaster Recovery (IT DR) implementation to join our international network of professionals helping our clients transform risk functions and implement solutions in building resilience. This is a unique opportunity for you to bring both functional and technical knowledge, including gaining experience pursuing and leading a wide array of projects. In addition, you will have the ability to develop and foster client relationships at senior levels of an organization, critical to our account centric approach and your personal growth. Your key responsibilities
- Manage the project execution with focus on quality and timeline, and clearly setting expectations to team members. Also considering necessary actions to address client expectations.
- Design BCM and IT DR framework and operating model that will best fit to the client’s continuity requirement
- Driving management discussion to understand/identify critical processes, associated continuity risks and IT related risks
- Providing guidance to IT Management of the organization to enhance the disaster recovery capability
- Conduct and drive business impact analysis and risk assessment meetings
- Develop continuity strategy for the critical business process post considering all requirements
- Build necessary plans and procedures that would be required for the organisation for successful resumption and recovery
- Perform exercises and testing to identify those gaps and additional control to ensure continuity of critical business process.
- Provide necessary guidance to client in improving the maturity of continuity landscape
- Analyse the leading practice around the globe related to resilience and add value to clients
- Working with client personnel to analyse, evaluate and enhance information systems supporting the business processes, and assisting clients and other technology professionals in performing information technology control audits and information technology control implementation engagements
- Develop new services and solutions that EY could consider for client and market penetrations
- Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment. You’ll play an active role in counselling and mentoring team members within the firm – and helping identify the skillsets required in respond to changing client needs.
- Develop and foster relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels – should be able to develop and own relationships, including driving client centricity and bringing relevant insights.
- Consistently deliver quality client services, execute engagement quality, and risk management processes, monitor progress, manage risk, and make certain that key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
- Enable the leadership on go to market and sales activities
Skills and attributes for success
- Able to manage Senior stakeholders in the BCM and IT DR.
- Experience in leading teams to execute BCM, IT DR within stipulated timeline along with high quality deliverables.
- Must have Conducted Business Impact Analysis and Risk Assessment
- Exposure to ISMS and IT Audits.
- Strong project management skills to effectively lead a project from start to finish, including directly interacting with client teams and leading and motivating our EY team members.
- Proactively engages with EY team members and clients in as part of business development and service delivery, including working with account teams, competency leads, and alliance partners.
- Good communication, presentation, and team-building skills and experience in producing high-quality reports, papers, and presentations.
- Willingness to work on new opportunities at the pursuit level
- Good Communication skill and willingness to travel at a short notice to GCC countries
- Demonstrating and applying strong project management skills, inspiring teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members
To qualify for the role, you must have
- A bachelor's or master's degree
- A minimum of 7-12 years of experience in Business Continuity / Resilience, IT Disaster Recovery.
- Excellent communication skills with consulting experience preferred
- A valid passport for travel.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- MBA/ /B Tech /B Sc (any stream)
- CBCI, CBCP, ISO 22301 LA/LI
