Job Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Manager in Fiinance transformation, Accounting and regulatory reporting. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Sector knowledge like Insurance / banking operations (i.e., Fund management, Product life cycle, Investment Management etc.), regulatory requirements, and financial processes (i.e., Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report), coupled with strong business analytical skillsets around key banking finance ERP/EPM tools (like Axiom, Finacle, Oracle, SAP, Workday, Workiva, etc.), project management, and change management skills. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and improve financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance Transformation:
- Lead the design and implementation of strategic initiatives to transform the finance function within the banking organization.
- Assess current financial processes, systems, and controls to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation of transformation projects.
- Collaborate with finance, technology, and business teams to define requirements, design solutions, and drive change.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on banking regulations, accounting standards, chart of account re-design, vendor assessment and industry best practices.
- Conduct impact assessments and risk analyses to mitigate potential disruptions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate stakeholders on new processes, systems, and controls.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of transformation initiatives and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the banking and finance industry.
Finance Reporting and Regulatory Reporting:
- - Develop and review financial reports for clients, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- In-depth knowledge of Regulatory reporting requirements and regulator focus areas
- Finance / Accounting/ Product - Foundational accounting and finance knowledge, experience with financial products and understanding of the life cycle of a transaction as it relates to data attributes.
- Process / Data flow - Understanding of process and data flows, from onboarding, aggregation, and reporting layers, then to the reporting/submission line items with the regulatory reporting and submission environment
- Origination Document Review - Understanding of how to review onboarding documents or reference for transactional testing (e.g., Loan Origination Statements, Counterparty Reference data)
- Conformance Testing – Data Analysis - Technical data analysis, experience extracting and profiling large data sets. SQL understand to review implemented system code and translate technical system logic/transformation rules into general business terms to determine conformance to regulatory requirements
- Precision and attention to detail in reviewing financial statements and regulatory filings.
Managed Services:
- Manage and deliver managed services engagements for clients
- Develop and implement service level agreements (SLAs)
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction
Team Management:
- Lead and manage large teams of finance professionals
- Develop and mentor team members
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
Other Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Contribute to thought leadership and knowledge development
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA, CFA)
