The opportunity
Professionals with expertise and prior work experience in Financial Services. Business analysts facilitates constant business process improvement by regular investigation, analysis, review and documentation specific areas of a business in terms of its functions and processes.
Your key responsibilities
Your client responsibilities:
- Need to work as a team/team lead in one or more banking projects.
- Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators
- Completion of assigned tasks on time and regular status reporting to the lead
- Regular status reporting to the Manager and onsite coordinators
- Interface with the customer representatives as and when needed
- Should be ready to travel to customers locations on need basis

Skills and attributes for success
- Should have been part of at least 1 end to end implementation of application / system change as Business Analyst
- Work as part of a team to implement & support customer’s platform for financial services
- Gather business requirements (product settings, workflows, accounting rules, etc.) from our customers and translate these into personalized configuration and setup
- Provide ongoing support and Q&A to existing customers and their users
- Experience in Fund Accounting, Investment Operations, Transfer Agency, Global Custody, Middle Office
- Experience with financial instruments, including equities, bonds, FX, deposits, money market instruments, mutual funds, unit trusts, exchange traded derivatives, as well as OTC derivatives
- Experience of the trade lifecycle for all instrument types
- Experience in at least one of following solutions: pControl, Geneva, Investran, Calypso, Tradeflow, Markit, Multifonds, Transfer Agency applications
- Expertise in fund services and ability to spot trends in fast changing technology
- Ability to understand emerging demands of customer centricity and develop solutions to meet that demand
- Should possess Strong Stakeholder Management Skills
- Ability to handle crisis and steer the team in the right direction.
- Should be able to run client workshops, gather requirements and formalise the MRD document and be able to get sign offs for the same
- Excellent documentation skills such as preparing BRD, TSD, FSD
- Should act as a SPOC during SIT and UAT phases and be able to drive the Testing phase of the projects
- Be Able to act as a Module Lead and lead the Development team & Functional Team
- Act as a bridge between the client and the Developers, translate the requirement into technical language for the developers
- Be able to analyse and identify the root cause of the issues identified during testing phase
- Be able to Debug and identify the root-cause for Product issues, provide workarounds and liase with Product Team for Permanent fix
- Should be able to identify and formulate data migration strategy alongside the project manager
- Other skills include Effort Estimation, Pre-sales support, engagement Assessments, Project planning, Conduct Training for clients/Internal staff
- Good Leadership skills
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Should have presentation skills
- Client management experience (Stakeholder management)
