The opportunity

Building on the evolution of EY’s Global Financial Crime compliance programme, the Global Financial Crime team are seeking two Senior Associates who will support with the development and execution of EY’s global 1st line of defence compliance processes. The roles will be part of the Global Delivery Services (GDS) team, reporting directly into the Global Financial Crime team.

We are looking for engaging individuals who embrace change and innovation to ensure that we can continue to deliver world-class Risk Management initiatives in an ever-changing environment.

The roles offer the successful candidates the opportunity to work with senior members of the Global Financial Crime team as well as members of the Risk Management executive more broadly, to increase visibility and awareness of EY’s financial crime programs throughout the business. Travel will be required on occasion for one-to-one and team meetings. Some flexibility will be required to accommodate meetings within the global time zones in which Risk Management operates.

Your key responsibilities

  • Supporting on the enablement of controls related to (1) Anti-Money Laundering (AML), (2) Economic and Trade Sanctions, (3) Insider Trading and (4) Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC).
  • Contribute to the design of controls and their testing through the global monitoring programme.
  • Provide guidance and consultation to Engagement Teams in relation to client engagement acceptance and continuance decisions linked to financial crime.
  • Review and test existing technology deployed to combat financial crime, test updates to existing tools and support with the validation of new technology.
  • Analyse data to produce management reports.
  • Maintain and contribute to guidance and training material relating to AML, Economic and Trade Sanctions, Insider Trading and ABC.
  • Contribute to the organisation and running of training sessions and team meetings on behalf of Global Risk Management.
