Technology Consulting business is a fast-growing sub-service line within EY’s Consulting service line. A dynamic group focused on providing high-value independent, trusted advice to clients, with a focus on transformation programmes.

EY work with clients in creating value and delivering world-class Digital, Data & IT capabilities to support business needs. Working closely with our industry groups and leveraging the EY brand as independent, trusted advisors, we provide our high-profile clients with a range of services.

We are looking for a Manager to join our rapidly growing Digital Workforce Transformation in Mauritius within our Technology Consulting Service Line.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of talented consultants to successfully deliver Dayforce HCM solutions to our clients.
  • Support Dayforce HCM system configurations according to our clients' specifications.
  • Manage Dayforce HCM engagements, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Act as a liaison between our clients and Dayforce, managing communications and escalations as necessary.
  • Develop and provide training to our clients' end-users to ensure they are proficient in using Dayforce HCM features and offer ongoing support to resolve any post-implementation challenges.
  • Oversee the creation of clear and concise documentation. Documentation of final client deliverables should be tailored to the audience, highlight critical findings or decisions. Documentation varies from project level requirements, design, strategy, and plan execution approach to executive level presentation materials.
    • Develop people. Provide constructive on-the-job feedback/training. Foster an innovative and team-oriented work environment.
  • Deliver quality services. Value and model excellent client service by establishing goals and implementation plans to achieve a high-quality deliverable and within expected timeframes. Monitor progress, manage risk, and confirm key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management. Focus on deliverables and client business priorities. Manage expectations of service. Understand the client's industry and recognize key performance drivers and business trends.
  • Demonstrate high levels of technical and professional knowledge and quickly assimilate new knowledge. Keep up to date with current developments and trends in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.
  • Identify new business opportunities. Understand EY and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients. Develop long-term client relationships and networks. Develop relationships with other EY team members across all practices to serve client needs.

Skills and Attributes for Success

The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage multiple projects and leadership skills to engage with diverse stakeholders

  • Leading team members in the development of applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view, thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate EY in the digital market.
  • Being proactive and driven to continually learn emerging technologies and business best practices.
  • Developing long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally.
  • Interacting and communicating effectively with teammates, clients, stakeholders, and executives.
  • Being visible in the market to promote new ideas in your domain and the excellence in digital advisory services offered by EY.

To qualify candidate must have:

  • A related bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management, HR or a related field or any STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics).
  • Approximately 5-7 years in HCM system implementations with a Dayforce experience preferred.
  • Dayforce certification will be an advantage
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data.
  • Experience in HCM system configuration
  • Experience in participating and/or leading client discussions – requirements gathering, user stories/test scenario creation, solution configuration, lead/support testing and drive deployment.

Ideally, you will also have

  • Results orientated and performance-driven approach.
  • Experience in leading a team of 10 people or multiple smaller teams of people.
  • Leading and inspiring teams (directly or indirectly) on key technologies and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
