Senior Learning Specialist in Consulting Operations Team

Location: Wrocław
Hybrid model: 2 days office/3 days remote

The opportunity

This position provides learning and development functional support for all departments within GDS Consulting Poland. Responsible for support the employee learning journey (focus on technical development) by coordinating training programs, managing systems and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities

  • Manage the training procurement process (e.g., placing and tracking training orders, working with the Finance local and global team).
  • Coordinate technical development and certification programs.
  • Prepare and maintain training reports and data analysis.
  • Manage and maintain annual L&D budget.
  • Support internal learning initiatives (e.g., internal expert sessions, employee-led trainings).
  • Participate in the onboarding process for new employees and interns.
  • Act as a point of contact for external learning vendors and internal departments (especially Operations, Finance, S2P and Talent Development).
  • Required to work closely with multiple managers and dedicated education’s SPOCs.
  • Provides regular communication (L&D Information sessions, Shared Team Mailbox, Sharepoint publications)
  • Coordinate upskilling and cross-skilling programs (internal L&D initiatives)
  • Create and maintain documentation (charters, learning related reporting, process documentation, etc.) for L&D tech projects

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong analytical skills - detail oriented
  • Being able to work and being precise under pressure of time
  • Very good English communication skills (C1-level), both oral and written
  • Experience in Learning & Development or a related HR field; prior experience in a similar role is a strong plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Minimum of 3 years Talent Development and Learning experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience and working knowledge of the SuccessFactors Learning Management System
  • Solid L&D background (Learning Paths, career paths, Learning tools)
  • Strong client service focus - responsive to requests maintains a sense of urgency in resolving issues
  • Outstanding teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills.
  • Experience working with cross-border, cross-cultural virtual teams
  • Exposure to projects with multiple local and global stakeholders

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Proficient in the L&D and Finance applications/systems based on Success Factors LMS
  • Technical education knowledge focused on AI, Cloud, PM and other Consulting related development solutions (training and certifications)
  • Project Management/Agile Framework background
  • Outstanding teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible in adapting to constantly changing priorities
