Eightfold Technology Lead

Role overview

The Eightfold Technology Lead is a pivotal role responsible for driving Eightfold AI technology leadership, product expertise, strategic alliances, and capability development within EY UKI People Consulting. This role acts as the Technology Lead for Eightfold implementation programs, ensuring seamless solution delivery and alignment with business objectives. Additionally, the role serves as an Eightfold product expert, staying ahead of the product roadmap across all Eightfold modules and leveraging that knowledge to support client engagements and project delivery.

As the Eightfold alliance leader, this role will also own and manage EY’s strategic relationship with Eightfold for the UKI region, ensuring effective collaboration and maximizing the partnership’s value. A critical aspect of the role is to build internal Eightfold AI capability, ensuring EY teams are equipped with the knowledge, certifications, and expertise needed to deliver high-quality, AI-powered HR transformation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Technology Leadership for Eightfold Implementations
  • Act as the Technology Lead across multiple Eightfold AI implementation programs, ensuring alignment between business requirements, solution design, and technical execution.
  • Provide technical oversight and governance, working closely with integration teams, enterprise architects, and client IT teams to ensure seamless deployment.
  • Support pre-sales activities, solution design, and solution development for Eightfold AI opportunities.

  1. Eightfold Product Expertise and Innovation
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Eightfold AI’s product roadmap across all modules (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Talent Design and Talent Intelligence, etc.).
  • Work directly with Eightfold to stay informed of product updates, innovations, and best practices, bringing insights into client engagements.
  • Guide clients on how to maximize the value of Eightfold AI, ensuring adoption of cutting-edge AI-driven talent strategies.

  1. Strategic Alliance Management with Eightfold
  • Serve as EY’s primary relationship owner for the Eightfold alliance, fostering a strong, collaborative partnership.
  • Represent EY in strategic discussions with Eightfold leadership, advocating for EY’s needs and ensuring alignment on joint go-to-market strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for co-marketing, joint offerings, and ecosystem collaboration between EY and Eightfold.

  1. Building Eightfold Capability Within EY
  • Lead the capability-building strategy for Eightfold AI within EY UKI People Consulting, ensuring consultants are equipped with the necessary skills and expertise.
  • Develop and oversee training and accreditation programs, driving certifications and hands-on learning for EY teams.
  • Establish an internal knowledge-sharing network, ensuring best practices, case studies, and lessons learned from Eightfold implementations are embedded in EY’s approach.

  1. Thought Leadership and Market Influence
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and thought leader in AI-driven talent acquisition and talent management
  • Support EY’s positioning in the market by contributing to white papers, speaking engagements, and industry events related to AI in HR and Eightfold AI.
  • Collaborate with EY industry leaders, HR transformation teams, and AI specialists to drive innovation and differentiation in Eightfold-related offerings.

Key Skills and Expertise

  • Technical and Functional Expertise in Eightfold AI – Deep understanding of Eightfold AI capabilities, architecture, integrations, and implementation best practices.
  • Strategic Technology Leadership – Proven ability to lead technology workstreams in complex HR technology transformation programs.
  • Product and Roadmap Knowledge – Ability to interpret and apply Eightfold AI’s product roadmap across client conversations, engagements, and EY’s broader strategy.
  • Stakeholder and Alliance Management – Experience managing vendor relationships and technology alliances, ensuring strategic alignment and business value realization.
  • AI and HR Tech Thought Leadership – Strong understanding of Skills AI-driven talent acquisition, talent management, workforce planning, with a track record of market influence and client advisory.
