SAP Alliance Sales Director

The opportunity

As our SAP Alliance Sales Director you’ll focus on identifying, shaping, and securing transformational SAP opportunities. This role will be crucial in enhancing relationships with SAP, augmenting EY's capabilities, and connecting our accounts under management to deliver EY's premier offerings. A primary responsibility will be to drive sales by using your deep SAP domain knowledge to lead end to end sales activities across diverse solutions and commercial structures.

This is a hybrid position based in Warrang – Sydney. This role can be performed from any of our EY offices across Australia. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities

  • Originate, lead, and close transformational deals within the SAP ecosystem, concentrating on solutions that span all areas of the enterprise business from finance, technology (including cyber), operations, customer and employee.
  • Drive sales by designing innovative deals that leverage various solution and commercial frameworks, ensuring alignment with client needs and market demands. This includes:
    1. Working side by side with SR Alliance Lead and SR Industry Alliance Leads to develop the alliance strategy and integrated approach with service line alliance solution leads and accounts.
    2. Working with Alliance solution leaders and account teams (including account Sales Executive’s) to develop, pursue and close alliance opportunities (especially in Premier, Strategic and Focus Grow accounts.)
  • Develop and sustain strategic relationships with key stakeholders at SAP, positioning EY as a trusted partner in driving transform, AI and agentic led solutions.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Proven experience in enterprise business development with a focus on transformative opportunities leveraging AI and digital capabilities.
  • Strong technology and business C-suite relationships and gravitas. Need to have exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of SAP's ecosystem and its relevance to business led AI transformation.
  • Understanding across a broader eco-system of technology solutions that SAP interact with including, but not limited to, NVIDIA, Snowflake, Databricks, ServiceNow, Microsoft and Adobe.
  • Demonstrated capability to drive strategic initiatives and develop innovative solutions across various commercial structures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with an emphasis on influencing and persuading key decision-makers.
