The opportunity
As our People Team HR Consultant, you’ll be responsible for providing transactional human resources (HR) support, advising on our HR policies, and executing HR processes. As a central pillar of our Talent team, we support the business on a number of HR initiatives, are responsible for maintaining our Global HR System, SuccessFactors, and processing employment data changes. You'll be joining a supportive team and have the opportunity to buld your skills and knowledge across a broad range of HR matters. Prior HR experience is not required and we value the skills you may bring from other high volume, administrative roles with a strong customer focus.
This is a hybrid position based in Naarm – Melbourne. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities
- Accurately processing employee data changes in our global HR system, SuccessFactors, while ensuring data integrity and timeliness. Example of transactions include but are not limited to Parental Leave application processing, Leaves of absence, Changes in work hours, Promotions and Separations.
- Offering responsive, clear, and human-centric guidance to employees and stakeholders regarding HR transactions and policy-related inquiries.
- Collaborating with our external payroll provider and onshore Payroll team to deliver accurate processing of payroll-related HR changes.
- Providing policy and process advice that aligns with both employee experience and business requirements.
Skills and attributes for success
- Experience in customer service or sales.
- Proven administrative experience.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills to build connections with a broad range of stakeholders.
Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
- A certificate or degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with HRIS or similar systems (e.g., SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft/SAP) is a plus.
