The opportunity
EY Private’s Tax practice believes a better working world is helping our clients navigate through a rapidly changing business and tax environment. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager/Senior Manager to join our Private Corporate Tax Advisory team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with clients, build strong relationships, and lead teams to deliver exceptional tax advisory services. You will be working with complex businesses, including entrepreneurs, private equity-owned corporates, and founder-led businesses.
This role is based in Warrang – Sydney. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive tax advisory services, including advice on Australian tax laws, strategic tax planning and structuring for inbound and outbound groups, and post-deal taxation services for acquired corporates.
- Offer guidance on tax corporate governance policies and processes, and review corporate income tax returns.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, managing the delivery of tax services and building strong client relationships through effective communication and engagement.
- Collaborate with Partners to execute market development initiatives and drive business growth.
What we look for
- Experience in Corporate Tax Advisory and Corporate Tax Compliance, ideally gained in a top-tier accounting firm or corporate business consulting environment
- Tax technical knowledge relevant to trusts and private companies
- Experience in managing junior staff and their development
- Ability to build strong and lasting business relationships
