EY- Strategy and Transactions (SaT) – Valuation, Modelling & Economics (VME) – Business Valuations – Staff – Advanced Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting business valuation engagements for clients across the MENA region, working as part of EY’s Valuation, Modelling & Economics (VME) team.
- Assisting in the preparation and development of valuation models for various purposes, including financial reporting, feasibility studies, and corporate transactions.
- Demonstrating capability to independently lead discrete workstreams within a valuation project, including model development, data analysis, and documentation under supervision.
- Collaborating closely with onshore teams, serving as a key support resource in project execution and timely delivery of client deliverables.
- Contributing to client presentations and valuation reports under the guidance of senior team members.
- Providing research support related to industry trends, comparable companies, transaction multiples, and other inputs used in valuation analysis.
- Demonstrating solid technical understanding of valuation principles and a willingness to continuously learn and apply new concepts.
- Leveraging available tools and technologies to improve work efficiency and maintain high-quality deliverables.
- Working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment that emphasizes knowledge sharing, respect, and continuous development.
- Supporting other Strategy and Transactions sub-service lines on multidisciplinary engagements when needed.
- Participating in internal initiatives, training sessions, and team-building activities to foster professional growth.

To qualify for the role, you must have:
- CA / ACCA / CFA or MBA – Finance (preferably from a premier institute) with a good academic background (in the order of highest qualification preference)
- 1 to 3 years of related work experience
- Prior experience in a similar role at a Big 4 firm or with a top-tier venture capital, investment bank or national accounting firm is required
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to handle complex financial data and valuation scenarios
- High degree of professionalism, reliability, and adaptability, with a commitment to meeting deadlines in a dynamic work environment
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and self-development, with a proactive approach to improving skills and supporting team knowledge-sharing
- Ability to independently manage assigned tasks and contribute to larger workstreams, while supporting senior members in ensuring quality and consistency
- Willingness to support and learn from team members, including adopting best practices and incorporating feedback into deliverables
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word for documentation support
We would expect for you to be available to travel outside of your assigned office location at least 50% of the time, plus commute within the region to other GDS locations on a short or long-term basis, whenever required.
