The Opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Manager to join our International Tax Services (ITS) team—widely recognised as a leader in international tax advisory and cross-border M&A.

This position sits within our International Transaction Tax Services (ITTS) practice, with a dedicated focus on clients in the Energy sector. You will work on complex, high-value cross-border transactions, providing strategic international tax advice to help clients navigate regulatory changes, accelerate growth, and achieve their commercial goals.

In this role, you’ll advise some of the world’s largest and most influential corporations on their international tax strategies and M&A activity. You’ll collaborate with well-known Partners and a high-performing team, gaining exposure to some of the most complex and high-profile transactions in the market.

This is a unique opportunity to develop your expertise as a trusted international tax advisor while working with multinational clients, leading law firms, and investment banks. What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, proactively winning work and contributing to new business development
• Lead the successful delivery of complex, high-impact consulting projects with a focus on technical excellence and practical, business-oriented solutions
• Take overall responsibility for the quality and consistency of client service
• Manage leads from other service lines and support cross-functional collaboration
• Build internal and external networks to enhance opportunities for the team
• Coach, mentor, and develop junior team members through effective supervision and feedback



• Excellent technical expertise in both international and UK tax
• Proven ability to build and manage strong client relationships, delivering high-quality work
• Confident in managing negotiations and handling complex client challenges
• Demonstrated business development skills with the ability to identify and convert opportunities
• Strong business acumen and experience in managing financial aspects of engagements
• Effective time and project management skills, with the ability to perform well under pressure
• Clear and confident communication skills—both written and verbal
• Collaborative and enthusiastic team player, capable of building and sustaining high-performing teams
• Commitment to delivering consistently high-quality work with attention to detail
• Proactive, innovative, and adaptable approach to change and technology adoption

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have:

• A strong background in corporate tax, with demonstrable advisory experience
• Professional qualification: ATT / ACA / CA / CTA (or equivalent experience/knowledge)
• Experience managing or contributing to international tax projects
• Solid technical foundation with a desire to grow expertise
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines
