The opportunity
As our Senior Consultant you’ll be working directly with clients to shape and enhance business strategies to help them solve tomorrow’s problems today. The world of indirect tax is constantly changing and has been rapidly expanding with new laws, regulations, technologies and regulator expectations. Our Indirect Tax team is at the forefront, and this is your opportunity to be part of that development. This is a hybrid position based in Naarm – Melbourne. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities
- Leverage your expertise in indirect tax to support clients with technical advice, risk management, regulatory compliance, and opportunities to enhance their tax position.
- Contribute to assurance and due diligence reviews, deliver data analytics and tax technology services, and advise on key indirect tax issues across multiple projects using emerging technologies.
- Engage in continuous learning, collaborate with broader tax teams, and embrace a dynamic working culture to consistently deliver value to clients.
Skills and attributes for success
- 3-4 years of experience in Stamp Duty or Land Taxes.
- Experience in the field of indirect tax preferably from a law firm or within professional services or mid-tier accounting firm.
