Our Data and Analytics team helps apply cutting edge technology and techniques to bring solutions to our
clients. As part of that, you’ll sit side-by-side with clients and diverse teams from EY to create a well-rounded

Role 2: Data Product Manager
In this role, you will connect Business product owners with Technology delivery teams using data to power
experiences for our Advisors and Investors. You will be accountable for multiple domains of data that power
products including Advisor and Investor platforms, performance reporting, supervision, account lifecycle
management, billing, compensation, trading, money movement, proposal generation, CRM, BI reporting and
data distribution, etc.
Responsibilities
In this pivotal role, you will:
• Oversee the delivery of technology projects, ensuring adherence to methodologies like Agile
and Waterfall, and mentoring team members.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation, applying research, analysis, and best practices
to advance processes and solutions.
• Develop and execute the data strategy and roadmap for multiple domains of data sources of
record (SORs) for consumers.
• Provide both high-level and detailed scoping estimates with Technology partners for
architecture and solution design, data flow and lineage, attribute-level data mapping, and data
distribution mechanisms.
• Manage complex technical initiatives, providing expert guidance, resolving issues, and
achieving performance objectives across client service, risk management, and team
development.
• Engage actively with clients, leading workstreams, and identifying opportunities to expand
services.
• Spearhead RFP responses and manage engagement economics, including resource planning
and budgeting.
• Travel as required to meet client needs and project demands.
Overall delivery
• Lead the development and enhancement of Cast & Operations data domains and assets,
aligning them with business objectives.
• Manage and mentor a team of Data Product Managers to deliver high-impact, scalable data
solutions across diverse use cases.
• Define and execute prioritization strategies to guide engineering and architecture efforts toward
high-value data initiatives.
• Partner across the organization—including data producers, architects, and business
stakeholders—to ensure cohesive data integration and alignment.
• Drive the delivery of trusted, high-quality data assets by establishing clear definitions of 'done'
including reusability, documentation, and metadata.
• Implement data monitoring and measurement frameworks to assess and improve data quality.
• Foster collaboration through shared standards and practices across the data product
management community.
• Analyze asset usage to identify data improvement opportunities and cultivate a positive, high-
performing team culture.
• As a manager, you will guide a team of Data Product Managers, empowering them to unlock the
full potential of data within our platform, catering to a diverse range of use cases with expertise
and innovation
Practice development
• Serve as a part of a leadership team at EY focusing on all things customer in pharma and
helping build the practice to achieve future vision and goals.
• Contribute actively to points-of-view, POCs, proposals and selling materials to help win and
close deals across horizontals and use cases
• Identify opportunities where EY can push frontiers for pharma clients in the customer space
• Stay up to date with the latest pharma trends and evaluate state-of-the-art
technologies/framework to drive innovation.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the life sciences domain.
Stakeholder management
• Foster strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for their
success.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to translate business asks to scalable, operable
solutions
Team and People development
• Provide leadership and development for direct reports
• Recruit, develop, and retain a strategic and operationally capable workforce skilled and
knowledgeable in pharma
• Effectively manage an agile organization that continuously meets the needs of a changing
portfolio
• Build an organizational culture that fosters inclusion and innovation.
• Create an environment that fosters professional and career development. In partnership with
line management, develop the team’s expertise in pharma, therapeutic area science, strategic
thinking, project management and leadership
• Develop and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and

• Put together development plan for team members and help plan career growth and
opportunities for other team members
• Evaluate and manage performance for leaders and other team members
Skills and attributes for success

Experience:
• 5-7 years of experience in python programming specializing in data handling, managing, ETL
jobs
• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in querying data in cloud platforms such s AWS, Azure etc.
• 5-7 years of experience in building statistical forecast models for pharma industry
• Exposure to sourcing/automating data pulls using APIs from different platforms e.g. evaluate
pharma, pricecentriq
• 5-7 Years of experience in leading report development and design
Skillsets:
• Visualization Tools: Power BI, Spotfire, Power Apps
• Data Manipulation & Analysis: SQL, Excel
• Data Sources: Familiarity with relational databases, data lakes, and clinical trial data systems
• Database Technologies: MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases
• Certification in AWS Solutions Architect / Microsoft Azure Data Engineer (good to have)
• Data Manipulation Tools: SQL, Excel
To qualify for the role, you must have
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably a business degree.
• 4 to 7 years+ of relevant experience in delivering client engagements across sizes and
geographies with deep expertise in Pharma commercial industry
• Specialized skills in Data Fabric, Data Governance, Enterprise IT Architecture, and other data
management disciplines
• Well-developed business acumen and strong problem-solving attitude with the ability to
visualize scenarios, possible outcomes & operating constraints.
• Good communication skills both written and oral, ability to make impactful presentations &
expertise at using excel & PPTs.
• A trusted advisor to our clients, guiding them through the entire customer transformation
journey, from strategy development to implementation
• Familiarity with current techno-commercial context and ability to integrate technology thinking
into customer solutioning
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to scale engagements at will

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $125,500 to $230,200. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $150,700 to $261,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
- Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
