Business Consulting works with clients to reimagine or transform their business purpose and model; create growth; manage cost and efficiency; respond to market pressures and regulation; and resolve operational challenges. The scope of this team encompasses innovation, strategy and purpose, through deep functional experience in business transformation, finance, supply chain and operations, providing support for the complex and large-scale program and portfolio management.

Finance Consulting - helps assess and transform our clients' finance function to improve performance and effectiveness. We help organizations implement service and cost improvement initiatives, and embed a performance management process and culture that unites the business around its core objectives.
Business Transformation - a m?ultidisciplinary competency, gathering capabilities in transformation architecture, experience design, business design and transformation execution to problem-solve, design and deliver large scale, multi-year, multi-stakeholder transformation programs.
Supply Chain and Operations - we provide a unique combination of industry-specific, strategic, operational and financial insights, digital technology advances and strategic alliance partners to deliver better outcomes and also help clients effect fundamental change in their operations’ performance to support sales growth, become more cost competitive, minimize risk and ensure operational resilience.
Your key responsibilities
Technical Excellence
Learning Strategy Development
Expertise in creating and executing a comprehensive learning strategy aligned with business goals and growth initiatives in key consulting areas (workforce advisory, internal audit, digital risk, etc.).
Ability to design frameworks for talent development, upskilling, and continuous learning across all levels, from analysts to partners.
Understanding of how to integrate industry trends, such as AI, automation, and regulatory changes, into the learning strategy to future-proof the workforce.
2. Budgeting and Financial Acumen
Proficiency in budgeting and financial planning to manage large-scale learning programs, including vendor contracts, technology investments, and resource allocation.
Ability to prioritize initiatives and optimize spending based on ROI, focusing on high-impact learning areas like cyber, finance, and supply chain.
Skilled in justifying learning investments through data-backed insights and demonstrating cost savings, efficiency gains, or revenue potential from upskilled teams.
3. Learning Needs Analysis
Expertise in conducting comprehensive learning needs analyses to identify skills gaps across diverse practice areas, including technical and behavioral skills.
Experience leveraging surveys, performance data, and engagement metrics to design targeted learning pathways.
Ability to translate needs analysis findings into actionable plans for scalable learning solutions, focusing on the most critical skills in finance, risk, and digital transformation.
4. Brand Building and Communication
Skills in brand building to elevate the learning function as a key differentiator within the firm and in the industry.
Proficiency in internal communications to create awareness, drive participation, and celebrate learning successes, helping to embed a strong culture of continuous learning.
Ability to position learning programs externally to enhance employer branding and attract top talent by showcasing the firm’s commitment to growth and skill development.
5. Learning Technology & Digital Learning Platforms
Proficiency with LMS, LXP, and virtual learning technologies to manage large-scale learning deployments and foster a culture of self-directed learning.
Familiarity with AI-driven learning personalization, allowing for customized learning paths that align with each consultant’s growth trajectory.
6. Data Analytics and Learning Impact Measurement
Strong knowledge of data analytics tools and metrics to measure learning effectiveness, engagement, and ROI, with proficiency in tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Experience with predictive analytics to proactively identify future skill needs and drive talent retention through targeted learning.
7. Content Development in Specialized Knowledge Areas
Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories, especially tailored to technical areas like internal audit, risk, finance, and cyber.
8. Experience with Emerging Technologies in Learning
Proficiency with Gen AI, NLP, and immersive learning tech, such as VR/AR, to develop future-ready learning experiences.
9. Change Management and Transformation
Ability to drive a learning culture shift and promote continuous learning habits, using change management frameworks and tools.
10. Advanced Project and Program Management
Experience managing complex, cross-functional learning initiatives with robust project management skills, ideally using agile or hybrid methodologies.
11. Vendor and Stakeholder Management
Skilled in managing relationships with content providers, universities, and technology vendors, along with internal practice leaders, to ensure alignment and buy-in across departments.
Team Leadership and Development
Proven experience managing and developing a team of 30-40 learning and development professionals, ideally across varied locations or consulting specialties.
Strong people management skills, fostering team cohesion, setting performance metrics, and enabling professional growth aligned with the company’s learning objectives.
Ability to create a collaborative, innovative environment within the team, focusing on knowledge sharing and continuous skill enhancement.

To qualify for the role you must have
Qualification
Masters in Strategy or HR from a premiere B school
Experience
Experience in Learning & Development Leadership (15-20+ Years)
15-20 years of experience in L&D, with at least 5-7 years in senior leadership roles overseeing strategy, team management, and stakeholder engagement.
Proven experience working in professional services or consulting environments is critical to understand the pace, complexity, and sector-specific learning needs (e.g., risk management, finance, IT transformation).
2. Strategic Business Acumen and Industry Expertise
Familiarity with workforce advisory, internal audit, finance, risk, and supply chain management from an L&D perspective, ideally gained through consulting experience or working closely with these functions.
Experience in building learning strategies that align with business transformations, such as digital risk, analytics, and AI applications in consulting.
3. Demonstrated Success in Scaling and Managing L&D Functions
Hands-on experience in scaling learning functions in large, multi-geography organizations (over 10,000+ employees) is essential, showing an understanding of the systems, technologies, and structures needed for large-scale rollouts.
Proven budgeting and resource allocation expertise, optimizing investments in content, technology, and team structure for maximum impact and ROI.
4. High-Level Stakeholder Management and Facilitation Experience
The ability to engage with and influence senior leadership (C-level and SL/SSL leaders), often requiring 10+ years of experience in high-stakes stakeholder management.
Strong facilitation experience, with a history of leading discussions and workshops with senior executives, helping to bridge the gap between L&D and business strategy.
5. Technology and Data Proficiency in L&D
Knowledgeable about current L&D technology trends (LMS, LXP, data analytics, AI, AR/VR), preferably with at least 5 years of experience integrating these into learning strategies.
