As part of our EY Cyber security, Technology Consulting team, your role will be to actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. You will be responsible for delivery and maintaining quality of services and deliverables on your engagements. You’ll also identify potential business opportunities for EY and GDS within existing engagements and escalate these as appropriate. Similarly, you’ll anticipate and identify risks within engagements and share any issues with senior members of the team.
The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Senior Manager to lead our efforts in delivering cybersecurity solutions to our clients. This role will focus on engaging with customers, driving go-to-market strategies, managing accounts, and overseeing a team of cybersecurity professionals.
Your key responsibilities
As a Cybersecurity Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in aligning cybersecurity strategies with business objectives. You will be responsible for leading client engagements, developing and executing go-to-market strategies, and managing key accounts. Your expertise will guide the team in delivering tailored cybersecurity solutions that address client needs and industry challenges.
You will also be responsible for the growth and development of the cybersecurity team, providing mentorship and support to team members while ensuring high performance on active projects.

Key responsibilities
- Shape practice/account strategy, direction, and market position
- Support business development through RFPs and sales activities
- Engage clients, address challenges, and build lasting partnerships
- Guide successful delivery of cybersecurity projects
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team
- Define talent strategy: hiring, structuring, upskilling
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align on business goals
- Stay current with cyber trends, tools, and regulations
- 65% time dedicated to active work on cybersecurity projects
To qualify for the role, you must have
- 10+ years in cybersecurity, with business-facing experience
- 5+ years in people management roles
- Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business, or related fields
- Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or equivalent
- Strong analytical skills; ability to translate tech into business terms
- Experience in unit leadership and team development
- Broad knowledge of cybersecurity and business context
- Client-focused approach with business acumen
- Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills
- Flexibility to take part in business trips (around 25%)
- Fluent English
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Additional certifications (e.g. ISO27001, TOGAF, Zero Trust)
- Hands-on experience in cybersecurity initiatives
- German or French is a plus
- Leadership background in consulting or large enterprises
- Agile and flexible working style
- Experience in consulting environments
