As our Manager or Senior Manager, Real Estate Valuations & Analytics, based in Sydney you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with a highly experienced and dedicated Real Estate, Transactions, and Delivery team within a national practice. This fantastic opportunity will enable you to elevate and shape your career and gain experience across multiple industry sectors as well as across functions within the EY Parthenon network.

Your key responsibilities

• Support of audit team in the peer review of valuation for financial reporting
• Support pre and post transaction activities by undertaking real estate analysis on a range of assets across Australia.
• Work on new and innovative housing models such as Build to Rent and Specialist Disability Accommodation
• Prepare valuation assignments in both stabilised assets and development properties
• Investigate and utilise new real estate technology applications to deliver innovative deliverables to our clients
• Provide financial and feasibility modelling assistance on a variety projects and transactions for income - producing and development assets
• Assist on and be at the forefront of major urban renewal and infrastructure projects including the preparation of business cases, transaction strategies and property development advisory
• Provide vendor and acquisition due diligence for clients disposing or acquiring real estate assets or portfolios of assets across a range of asset classes
• Provide market research and trend analysis and contribute to thought leaderships papers

Skills and attributes for success

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

• Strong analytical skills, communication skills and keen attention to detail
• A detailed understanding of the private sector and government valuation processes
• Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles, with good report writing and presentation skills
• Professional accreditation either as a CPV of the API or MRICS
