EY GDS Digital & Emerging Technologies is a unique, industry-focused business unit that provides a broad range of integrated services that leverage deep industry experience with strong functional capability and product knowledge. The Digital Engineering (DE) practice works with clients to analyse, formulate, design, mobilize and drive digital transformation initiatives. We advise clients on their most pressing digital challenges and opportunities surround business strategy, customer, growth, profit optimization, innovation, technology strategy, and digital transformation. We also have a unique ability to help our clients translate strategy into actionable technical design, and transformation planning/mobilization. Through our unique combination of competencies and solutions, DE team helps our clients sustain competitive advantage and profitability by developing strategies to stay ahead of the rapid pace of change and disruption and supporting the execution of complex transformations.
Your Key Responsibilities
You will focus on the evaluation, design, customization and optimization of different solutions. You will team with various EY groups with digital capabilities to pursue and deliver digital engagements and deliver solutions that will bring our client’s digital vision and strategy to life.
Skills and attributes for success
- Function as part of a team during technical implementations for Dynamics/Power Platform.
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into capabilities, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Assist with providing estimates on assigned tasks.
- Provide mentoring and leadership to less experienced developers.
- Perform code reviews and ensure best practices are being adhered to by development team on engagements
- You should have experience managing projects using Waterfall, Agile (Scrum), and hybrid methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills are necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders at different levels of the organization, are required
To qualify for the role you must have
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (MBA a plus)
- Minimum of five years of experience; must have a minimum of 4 years of general development experience and a minimum of 2 years .NET technical experience.
- Firm understanding of C#, SQL, JavaScript, HTML
- Experience using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power pages.
- Experience using Dataverse
- Experience integrating with external systems
- End to End API development experience
- Self-starter and able to handle multiple tasks and priorities
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Microsoft Dynamics/Power Platform experience
- JavaScript UI frameworks such as React or Angular
- Experience with ADO Build Pipelines or similar
- Microsoft Certifications and prior consulting experience highly preferred
