The opportunity

As our Senior Consultant – Market Research Data Analyst/Programmer you’ll play work in a dedicated team of programmers/analysts to liaise with Research Consultants to understand their research strategies and ensure their analytics, metrics, forecasting and reporting are being met; initiate and maintain online (CAWI), telephone (CATI) and face to face (CAPI) social and market research projects, including scripting and management of questionnaires.

We’re looking for a research professional based in Warrang – Sydney who is curious, analytical, and ready to grow within a dynamic team

Your key responsibilities

  • Partner with Research Consultants to align survey programming and analytics with research goals.
  • Program and manage surveys across CAWI, CATI, and CAPI platforms, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Develop and maintain questionnaires using tools like Acuity, Qualtrics, Voxco, and SurveyToGo.
  • Analyse data and support reporting using SPSS, Q, Power BI, or Displayr.
  • Ensure quality and compliance by meeting ISO 20252 standards and managing multiple projects with precision

What we look for

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • At least 3 to 4 years’ experience working in the market research industry
  • Strong practical experience in market research survey programming for online (CAWI) essential; experience survey programming for telephone (CATI) and face-to-face interviewing (CAPI) highly desirable
  • Analysis experience with SPSS and/or Q
  • Ability to work to deadlines across multiple engagements and Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and Numeracy skills/ be a logical thinker

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Experience programming CAWI in Acuity and/or Qualtrics and CATI in Voxco
  • Experience using SurveyToGo for CAPI
  • Web design: Flash/Silverlight/ JavaScript
  • SQL Database experience and programming in R or Python
  • Experience/interest in writing macros and working with research panels
  • Experience with Power BI or Displayr and an understanding of the requirements of ISO 20252
