Overview
We are seeking an Experienced AI and Data Manager to lead strategic proposals and client engagements end-to-end. This role is perfect for someone with a strong consulting mindset, proven sales acumen, and deep expertise in Data Science and AI. You will help shape AI-driven transformation for leading organisations across Europe, driving innovation and measurable business outcomes as part of our AI and Data Hub, a centre of excellence driving innovation across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead proposals from ideation to submission, including scoping, pricing, and client negotiations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, shaping AI and data strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Drive business development, revenue growth, and account expansion opportunities.
- Oversee delivery of ML/AI projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and measurable impact.
- Interest and exposure to Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI is highly valuable.
- Mentor and lead more junior team members across engagements.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape strategic initiatives and go-to-market plans.
- Develop and evolve our commercial offerings, ensuring they remain competitive and aligned with market trends.
- Speak at client events and workshops, and shape our AI and Data Hub’s innovation agenda.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7-9 years in Data Science/AI roles, with at least 3 years in consulting for Financial Services and/or other sectors such as Telecommunications or Retail & Consumer.
- Proven track record in commercial roles: proposal ownership, client pitching, and deal closing.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: AI for Finance, AI for Financial Risk, Pricing Modelling, Optimisation projects, FinCrime, AML, or KYC.
- Experience in MLOps implementations is highly valuable.
- Certification as Databricks Machine Learning Practitioner or in Microsoft Fabric Analytics is highly valuable.
- Interest and exposure to Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI is highly valuable.
- Strong consulting toolkit: structured problem-solving, executive communication, and stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with global delivery models and working across distributed teams.
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments and teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a high-performance culture within diverse teams.
- Bilingual: Native or C2-level Spanish and fluent English.
- Must-have: Python, SQL, PySpark, Databricks, Azure ML, Azure DevOps
- Nice-to-have: Knowledge of MLOps practices, Agile frameworks
