Client Executive – Insurance
The opportunity
As an Industry Account Centric Client Executive (CE) you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service (ECS) to our insurance clients by understanding client issues and challenges, leveraging the firm’s capabilities to address these and driving new business opportunities to grow revenue and to deepen customer relationship management (CRM). This role will drive global accounts strategy, rigorous account planning and relationship development across the client(s) organisation.
This is a hybrid position based in Warrang – Sydney.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead global account strategy and growth, driving revenue and deepening relationships with major insurance clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, shaping transformative solutions and introducing strategic alliances that deliver measurable impact.
- Champion innovation and collaboration, leveraging EY’s global network and cutting-edge capabilities to solve complex client challenges.
Skills and attributes for success
- Ability to build and sustain trusted relationships with C-suite executives, leveraging influence and executive presence to drive strategic outcomes.
- Deep understanding of the insurance sector combined with commercial acumen to identify opportunities and negotiate complex agreements.
- Proven capability to lead account strategy and foster innovation, introducing transformative solutions and alliances that deliver measurable client impact.

- Experience in leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles within the insurance or broader financial services sector.
- Familiarity with digital transformation, managed services, and alliance-based solutions to help clients innovate and grow.
- Strong influencing skills and the ability to navigate a matrixed organization, balancing client priorities with firm objectives.
