Title:SAP Fullstack Architect - Cross Cloud Platform

The opportunity

The selected candidate will:

• Lead the CT SAP Development team in area of specialization and develop the team to ensure it has the right capability
• Work very closely with CT SAP Product Owners, Software Developers, Designers and Domain Experts, in an Agile working model.
• Assume additional technical, organizational or coordination tasks or roles, as required
• Strategically leverage networks to drive innovation, best practice and a continuous improvement culture
• Collaborate intensively with colleagues inside and outside the team and collaborate professionally with Business Owners.
• Bring in rich experience of working on cross platforms like SAP Business Technology Platform, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Instrumental in building next generation Transformation and Delivery Platform for SAP business.
• Assume responsibility for designing, developing, implementing and testing complete end-to-end business processes with a strong focus on quality.
• Guide team development efforts towards successful product delivery.
• Collaborate with designers and domain experts. Work in a diverse team applying Scrum and agile development.
• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team. Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain applications built on SAP technologies.
• Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
• Work effectively in a fast paced and changing business environment. Flexibility and adaptability are must haves to be successful in this role.

Skills and attributes for success

• Highly advanced knowledge of designing, developing, and debugging solutions in React JS, Node JS, Next JS and Redux in shaping the next generation SAP Delivery Platform.
• Strong programming background and excellent technical skills in Design, coding, testing and delivery of secure, scalable, reliable, robust and performant Fullstack applications.
• Knowledge in the following areas is beneficial: SAP BTP, CPI, Cloud Foundry, Google Cloud platform, GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine), Cloud Run, containerization.
• Experience in working with Micro-services Architecture, Cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, REST APIs.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks like JUnit is desirable.
• Proven technical, business communication skills

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or related field preferred
• B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA with an aggregate score of 70% or above from IIT/NIT/any tier 1 Institute preferred
• 11 to 15 years’ of experience in software development primarily in Fullstack technologies like Javascript, React JS, Node JS, Cloud application development technologies.
• Strong development skills in following areas: React JS, Integration with SAP technologies, Microservices Architecture, GCP, Microsoft Azure, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, GKE.
• Knowledge in these areas: Fullstack development, extension/configurations, SAP BAS tool to develop Fiori applications, JavaScript/ jQuery to write functions, good knowledge on MVC framework.
• Strong focus on Database and experienced in writing scalable SQL
• Experience in GCP, Docker, GKE, OData / Rest protocols
• Experience in Developing HANA OData Services etc. is desirable but not mandatory.
• Experience in Azure DevOps process and release activities for On-prem/Cloud applications
• Techno functional knowledge in SD, FI, MM , Asset Management etc is desirable.
• Understanding and updated with SAP Business AI strategy especially SAP BDC , Joule and AI Agents using GenAI Hub.
• Understanding Integration suite and Event mesh for various SAP and Non SAP integration developments.
• Good knowledge and preferably experience in SAP LeanIX for Architecture.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Strong analytical capabilities and logical skills, Solution designing experience is a must.
• Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship. Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
• Good understanding of agile methodology and scrum processes.
