Job Summary:

Talent Services (TS) is a core service function within Global Delivery Services (GDS) – Enablement Services, providing High quality skills and competencies supporting operational and consultative Talent activities to EY member firms. TS personnel are employed by Global Delivery Services (GDS) and are based in our centers in:

Poland: Wroclaw, Warsaw, Katowice

Philippines: Manila, Cebu

India: Bangalore, Trivandrum, Cochin, Gurgaon, Noida

TS supports the Super Regions of EY and are funded by the regions based on usage. Learning TS supports a specific Super Region and acts as part of the extended Super Region Learning team. TS works in a fully integrated way with onshore colleagues, participating in meetings, projects and planning activities as part of one team.

The Talent Services Location Leader is responsible for on-the-ground set up, and BAU leadership of the new TS team based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This role will work with US onshore Talent Leaders, TS function leaders and GDS Argentina Enablement Services team to set up, build the capability, stabilize delivery and ensure consistent high-quality support and delivery from the center.

Key Responsibilities:

The GDS Talent Services Location Leader has responsibility for strategic or operational initiatives, location-specific areas and talent acquisition specifics for Talent Services in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Your responsibilities in the following roles are:

GDS Talent Services Location Leader:

Set Up and Expansion:

  • Single point of contact for all interactions, activities or matters related to the set-up of the TS Support in GDS Argentina.
  • Work closely with Super Region Talent Team and TS Function Leads in identifying roles and activities that are being set-up in TS including location strategy and over-all implementation approach
  • Work with the Project Team in the execution of the implementation plan and with the onshore team in carrying

forward the TS operating model and ways of working post initial transition.

  • Work with project team and TS function leads on governance with stakeholders to get a good understanding of their priorities and share best practices.
  • Oversee onboarding of new TS resources into GDS Argentina and working closely with TS function leads and onshore teams in providing global, area and region-specific training to their TS team members
  • Work closely with the onshore teams and TS function leads in defining over-arching performance management framework, tracking and reporting for the TS team members, as well as roles and responsibility between the onshore and TS leaders
  • Work closely with the onshore teams and TS function leads in establishing and maintaining “ways of working” as guiding principles for the TS resources in the performance of their day-to-day tasks and deliverables

Stabilization and BAU:

  • Enable weekly, monthly or quarterly report outs to stakeholders and / or GDS Leadership, as the case maybe.
  • Identify issues and concerns on any of the areas mentioned above and working towards resolution in a consultative approach with VTH function leads and US onshore Talent leaders.
  • Ensure TS resources are included in GDS center initiatives and are supported from a center standpoint.
  • Manage people movement and working closely with VTH function leads and onshore teams in providing global, area and region-specific training to their VTH team members.
  • Establish success planning and career mapping.
  • Drive on a BAU basis the FY priorities of GDS Enablement Services and Talent Services.
  • Create and sustain a culture of efficiency and innovation. Drive efficiency and transformation projects through the use of AI and technology.
  • Escalation contact of any operational matter that is specific to GDS Argentina.

Other Requirements:

  • Occasional travel will be required for global meetings

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Experience:

  • 10 to 15 years of experience in service delivery, operational excellence or shared services for a multinational organization
  • At least 10 years of experience in a managerial position, involving strategic operations, planning and execution of global KPIs
  • Experience in building high performing teams across generations, cultures and locations
  • Experience across client/internal projects, focused on the development, improvement and deployment of products or tools including change management.
  • Experience in transitioning and / or setting up new roles from the onshore organization to offshore centers.
  • Proven track record of working with a senior stakeholder population and demonstrating customer centricity.
