We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technology Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Auckland. In this role, you will be responsible for leading technology projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive the successful implementation of technology solutions that align with our clients' strategic objectives.

This is a hybrid position and is based in our Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) office].

Ko Tō Rourou | Your key responsibilities

  • Manage technology projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against these metrics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to EY's project management methodologies and best practices.

Ngā Pūkenga | Skills and attributes for success

  • Proven experience managing technical projects using Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project) and their application in project execution.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  • Familiarity with IT systems and a high-level understanding of emerging technologies, including AI and Data.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
