Your new job | About your main responsibilities
At EY, we experiment with the latest technology trends. We advise clients on the selection of digital platforms and guide them in their technology transformation, from design, implementation, configuration, and integration.
The Digital Platforms team focuses on delivering next-gen digital products and platforms from our ecosystem partners. We focus on both enterprise workflow platforms (such as ServiceNow, PEGA, and Microsoft) and specific risk & compliance technologies (including solutions for combating financial crime and fraud), as well as technology platforms specifically developed for the banking sector.
As a (senior) consultant in our Digital Platforms team, you are the driving force behind guiding and executing digital transformations. You help our clients embrace technology solutions that increase efficiency, reduce costs, better manage risks, and improve customer experience (CX). Additionally, you translate complex technical concepts into practical strategies:
- Analyzing business processes and identifying opportunities for digitization, optimization, and innovation.
- Understanding complex IT environments and providing advice to further improve them using new technologies.
- Developing digital strategies/innovative solutions while keeping an eye on the latest trends and best practices.
- Collaborating with internal (and international) Data & AI, Digital Engineering, Technology Strategy, and Cyber teams to translate technical specifications into client needs.
- Implementing and testing digital products and platforms with a focus on User Experience (UX) & Interface (UI).
- Experimenting with emerging technology trends (AgenticAI) and helping our clients apply them.
- Translating complex technical concepts into understandable language for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Presenting key results, deliverables, and outcomes to the client in an exceptional manner with excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills in English and Dutch.
- Responding to client needs, providing updates on project events and progress, and offering subject matter expertise.
- Training and managing junior EY staff and client staff, including quality assurance of client deliverables.
- Understanding our services and helping identify opportunities to better serve our clients.
- Building valuable and professional relationships with clients and EY's technology partners.
- Building internal relationships within the Technology Consulting practice.

Your skills and strengths | About your unique contribution
To be eligible for this position, you need:
- A Master's degree, preferably in a business, IT, or mathematics-related discipline.
- 1-6 years of experience in a professional, client-facing environment.
- A structured approach to problem-solving and the ability to work both in teams and independently.
- The ability to effectively manage stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication to a mix of audiences and the ability to translate strategy into measurable business benefits.
Additional qualities:
- Affinity with the financial sector.
- Experience using the Microsoft toolset, including Office 365 tools (Excel/PowerPoint) and PowerPlatform (PowerApps/PowerAutomate/PowerBI) is a plus.
- Programming/development experience in machine learning/artificial intelligence and ChatBots/Natural Language Processing is a plus.
- Additional professional qualifications, Scrum Master, Scrum Product Owner, and/or a diploma in Agile Project Management or a similar discipline from a recognized institution.
