SAP Solution Architect
The opportunity
As our SAP Solutions Architect you’ll work across our leading-edge technology consulting. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to provide innovative SAP technology strategy and architecture expertise.
As our SAP Solution Architect, you will collaborate with project teams to ensure the alignment of all technical initiatives with our client business goals. You will provide architectural expertise, direction and assistance to systems analysts, infrastructure administrators, integration experts and software developers.
This is a hybrid position based in either Naarm – Melbourne, Canberra, or Warrang – Sydney.
Your key responsibilities
- Design, implement and administer SAP solutions.
- Drive enterprise business, process, and technology strategy
- Demonstrate thought leadership and best practices based on detailed knowledge of SAP's Solution Suite
- Establish standards and guidelines for the design & development, tuning, deployment and maintenance of SAP information architecture.
Skills and attributes for success

- Establish standards and guidelines for the design & development, tuning, deployment and maintenance of SAP information architecture.
Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
- Extensive experience as a SAP Solution Architect, ideally within a consulting/client delivery setting including pre-sales capacity through delivery.
- Industry experience in Mining, Energy, FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Defence or others as an Enterprise or Solutions Architect.
- Strong functional and technical cross modules exposure & understanding in greenfield, selective data transfer and/or brownfield implementations.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in transformation programs working collaboratively with program leadership, project managers and functional area leadership to develop cohesive end-to-end solutions.
- Demonstrated ability and experience working with complex architecture in the SAP ecosystem.
- Demonstrated strategic thought leadership on SAP solutions in the form of recommendations, roadmaps and advisory.
- Demonstrated understanding of business process flows and integration with SAP modules.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements and deliverables.
- Skills and experience in integration between several SAP systems and legacy.
- Knowledgeable across multiple technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform.
- Adaptable to evolving client requirements and expanding technology and business process knowledge in real time.
- Working with client leadership teams as well as technical experts. To be able to communicate at a conceptual level as well as technical detail in terms of product capability and configuration.
- Affective understanding of project methodologies such as SAP Activate, Agile, DevOps and/or other methodologies that will provide an ability work in a delivery environment as well as an operational situation.
- Ability to lead, manage and work with offshore teams in delivering engagements for clients
- Mentoring and supporting the development of junior team members to expand internal capability
- Highly developed communication skills and the ability to translate technical talk into everyday language.

- Salary: We offer a competitive salary which is open to negotiation pending on skills and experience.
