Role Overview:
The Business Analyst serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring that digital solutions meet organizational objectives and user needs. This role is responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements, mapping business processes, and translating business needs into actionable deliverables throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements using interviews, workshops, and other techniques.
  • Map and optimize current and future business processes using BPMN or equivalent standards.
  • Translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria for agile development teams.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, project managers and other team members to clarify requirements and validate delivered features.
  • Support user acceptance testing, collect feedback, and contribute to product refinement.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date functional documentation using platforms such as Confluence or Sharepoint.
  • Facilitate effective communication between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and shared understanding.
  • Organize and manage the product backlog, ensuring prioritization and readiness for sprint planning.
  • Participate in backlog refinement, sprint ceremonies, and testing phases to support agile delivery.
  • Assist with post-deployment activities, including hypercare support and knowledge transfer to business users.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Four to six years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in digital transformation or software development projects.
  • Strong understanding of business process modeling, requirements engineering, and agile methodologies.
  • Experience with documentation and collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.
