To support the continued growth of our FS Private Capital team, we’re looking for Senior Managers with strong tax advisory experience in the asset management industry. This includes expertise in international tax fund structuring and UK corporate tax matters.

You’ll join a high-performing, market-leading team where you can broaden your exposure, lead significant client relationships, and play a key role in driving our strategic growth across the asset management and private capital space.

The Team

Within EY's Financial Services (FS) Tax, our Private Capital Tax team focuses on the Wealth and Asset Management sector, with specialists based in London and Manchester. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of complex UK and international tax advisory projects.
• Drive our growth strategy within the asset management and private capital markets.
• Build and strengthen trusted client relationships through exceptional service delivery.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor junior team members, supporting their career development.
• Contribute to the strategic and operational management of the team
• Support business development activities and contribute to practice growth.

About You

• Proven track record of leading complex tax advisory work for asset management clients and their funds, including international tax matters.

• Experienced as the primary client contact and trusted advisor.
• Demonstrated success in business development — winning new clients and expanding existing relationships.
• Deep understanding of tax issues affecting asset managers, funds, and partnerships.
• Experience across a range of fund tax matters such as fund formation, asset acquisitions and disposals, reorganisations, and management structures.
• Strong client focus with the ability to deliver practical, commercial tax advice.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead, inspire, and collaborate across teams.
• Committed to high-quality work and effective project delivery.

Skills and Qualifications

• ACA / CTA / Law qualification / Tax Inspector with full technical training, or equivalent.

• Strong UK and international tax technical knowledge.
• Experience in asset management tax advisory (within a Big Four, accounting, or law firm).
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Professionalism, initiative, and confidence in managing complex engagements.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
