The Opportunity

We are looking for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our HR team on a maternity cover basis. This role is critical in ensuring competitive and compliant reward practices that attract, retain, and motivate our people.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation Management

  • Administer salary reviews, bonus cycles, and other reward programs.
  • Ensure compliance with EY global policies and local labor regulations.
  • Support benchmarking and market analysis to maintain competitive pay structures.

Benefits Administration

  • Manage employee benefits programs (health insurance, pension plans, flexible benefits).
  • Liaise with external providers and ensure smooth delivery of benefits.

HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Prepare compensation and benefits reports for management.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide insights for decision-making.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Stay updated on legislative changes impacting compensation and benefits.

Employee Support

  • Act as a point of contact for compensation and benefits queries.
  • Provide guidance and resolve issues promptly.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

To Qualify for the Role, you must have

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in compensation and benefits or HR operations.
  • Advanced Excel and HR systems knowledge.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English.
