As part of our growing Climate Change and Sustainability Services team, you will work with leading companies across sectors and play a key role in shaping Türkiye’s and the region’s sustainability transformation.

We are now seeking a Senior Manager / Manager with strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a passion for driving real impact.

Your key responsibilities

Client Delivery & Technical Leadership

• Lead end-to-end sustainability, engagements, ensuring high-quality, insight-driven deliverables
• Advise clients on sustainability strategies, risk and scenario analysis, double materiality, EU Taxonomy assessments and value chain insights
• Support clients in applying international reporting standards including ISSB/TSRS, CSRD, TCFD, TNFD, GRI, SASB and CDP reporting
• Oversee environmental and social due diligence assessments for transactions and large-scale projects
• Provide clear, concise and commercially relevant recommendations to senior executives

Project & Risk Management

• Manage engagement budgets, timelines, resources and EY risk management requirements
• Communicate progress and emerging issues to partners and client leadership

Business Development

• Identify new business opportunities and support the preparation of proposals and thought leadership
• Build sector relationships and contribute to EY’s position as a trusted sustainability advisor

People Leadership

• Coach and mentor junior team members, supporting their technical and professional development
• Contribute to recruitment, capability building and fostering an inclusive team culture
• Collaborate closely with other EY service lines and our global sustainability network

What we look for

• Minimum 6 years of experience in sustainability, finance, risk or related areas
• Experience in:
  • Sustainability/ESG strategy development
  • Decarbonisation & net zero pathways
  • GHG accounting and LCA
  • Climate risk and scenario analysis
  • Double materiality assessments
  • EU Taxonomy applicability and alignment
  • Environmental & social due diligence (E&S DD)
  • Sustainability and climate-related reporting (ISSB/TSRS, CSRD, GRI, TCFD, SASB, CDP)
• Financial reporting literacy (ability to interpret financial statements and link sustainability topics with financial impacts)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple workstreams
• Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and communicate complex concepts clearly
• Strong interpersonal awareness and sound judgement in managing diverse teams and client needs
• Degree in environmental sciences, engineering, economics, public policy, business or related fields
• Additional professional qualifications (e.g., ESG, climate risk, GHG accounting, CFA etc.) are an asset
