Lead Financial Analyst - Senior Associate
The Business Analysis (BA) sub-function of FP&A supports business leadership by providing strategic analytics, insights, and performance reporting to enable informed decision making.
The opportunity
The Business Analysis team is seeking for strong Financial Analyst to support the Service Line/CBS leadership and Finance team members. The role provides support to the Finance Lead on the interpretation of financial information, ad hoc analysis and investigations. You will work closely with other members of the Business Analysis team.
This role will establish a trusted relationship with their clients, understanding their needs and teaming with other Finance team members to bring best in class analytical support, functional expertise and reporting solutions.
Your key responsibilities
- Consolidate and analyze financial data (Actual, Plan and Forecast for P&L metrics) to support the decision-making discussions
- Prepare reporting and analysis to identify key areas of focus based on actual performance which can be developed into insightful commentary
- Monitor and oversee a number of key processes, including GDS reconciliations and balance sheet accruals.
- Ensure the month–end accounting process is carried out accurately and efficiently within a tight schedule including reviewing and preparing journals as required, reviewing variances to plan and prior year, as well as providing analytical insight for these
- Support financial planning and budgeting processes including financial plan, forecasts, month end and year end closes
- Ensure the Finance team’s processes are as efficient as possible whilst constantly looking to make improvements where possible
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting as appropriate
- Incorporating technology, automation and Gen AI in improving delivery of insights to the business by partnering with Global Analytics, EDS and Reporting teams
- Be proactive in raising the profile of the Finance team within the business and in contributing to your own professional development

- Able to demonstrate initiative in approach to problem solving
- Computer proficiency; be proficient or trainable in complex aspects of financial software packages, including Power Bi
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools, predominantly Excel and PowerPoint
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Graduate and/or professional certification in a business-related subject matter (i.e. Accounting, Finance)
- Approximately 1-3 years of experience in a related accounting or analysis function
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools, predominantly Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI
