EY- IT Auditor – Risk Consulting- Digital Risk – Staff

As part of our Risk Consulting team, you will be part of the Digital Risk team to perform IT Infrastructure and IT Application control audits for various clients across the MENA region. Working with Digital Risk team, you will get exposure to perform IT Audits, IT Risk assessment, IT Governance audits, ERP reviews and conduct IT maturity assessment on the client’s current IT posture. The client base spans across various sectors and includes collaboration with other teams within Advisory services.

The opportunity

Your key responsibilities

• Be responsible for delivering highest quality on every task assigned in line with EY methodology and the expectations of MENA engagement teams.
• Demonstrate basic understanding of an industry or sector and be aware of technical issues or assurance risks.
• Execute & document specific review procedures as defined by the engagement teams.
• Build knowledge about risk management which includes understanding significant business processes, regulation applicable to the client, other risks specific to a client’s business.
• Timely identification of IT issues, clearly documenting the facts and findings, and discuss with EY GDS senior/Assistant Manager.
• Work with the EY GDS Senior and Managers to set goals and responsibilities.
• Interact with the EY GDS team members on a regular basis and develop productive relationship with them.
• Contribute ideas for improvement by comparing efficiency of review procedures performed across different clients.
• Contributes to a positive team environment by demonstrating consistent commitment and optimism towards work challenges.
• Promote EY’s ethical and professional standards, including data confidentiality.
• Develop knowledge of use of EY technology and tools to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery.
• Expected to learn and perform IT internal control testing, develop IT internal audit plans, and provide IT internal audit services for the MENA stakeholders.

Skills and attributes for success

• Collaborating with other members of the engagement team to understand the engagement and develop work program timelines, risk assessments and other documents/templates.
• Good Communication skill and willingness to travel.
• Good logical reasoning capabilities
• Experience in working in an IT team in an organization
• Demonstrating and applying innovative skills, inspiring teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A Bachelor’s Degree (BCA, B.Tech/B.E, B.SC in Computer Science)
• A Master's Degree (MBA, M.Tech, MCA)
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working as Information Technology professional in a professional services firm.
• Excellent communication skills with consulting experience preferred
• A valid passport for travel.
