We are looking for candidates for the role of Manager (SAP IBP) in the Supply Chain & Operations cluster within EY Business Consulting in Poland. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced supply chain professionals with hands‑on planning and transformation experience who want to lead project‑based, transformation‑focused environments.
You will join our Integrated Business Planning team, supporting global and local clients in planning improvement initiatives, including implementations and enhancements of Advanced Planning Systems - primarily SAP IBP but also SAP APO, Kinaxis, or OMP, depending on your experience and interests.
We welcome candidates with experience in the supply chain planning domain, gained either in business roles or in consulting. We particularly value experience in system implementations or process improvements delivered in international settings.
Your scope of duties:
- Lead end‑to‑end planning transformations with a strong technology component, primarily in Planning and, where relevant, across Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics and Supply Chain Strategy
- Operate in a client‑facing capacity: manage stakeholder relationships, facilitate decision‑making and serve as a trusted advisor at multiple levels of the client organization
- Act as a subject‑matter expert for the client, shaping the solution, roadmap and delivery approach
- Analyze business requirements and design planning processes; translate them into functional specifications and user stories
- Own and guide the configuration of SAP IBP (Planning Areas, Key Figures, Alerts, Time Profiles)
- Oversee data integration using SAP CI‑DS / RTI and integration points with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC
- Plan and supervise testing activities (UT, IT, UAT), ensuring quality and readiness for go‑live and hyper‑care
- Prepare and deliver workshops, build process documentation and enable long‑term client capability
- Conduct Fit‑Gap analysis, master data and system setup, and drive quantitative and qualitative analyses of planning processes
- Facilitate workshops across business units and regions; manage stakeholders and align cross‑functional teams
- Contribute to business development activities, including scope definition, timelines, budget and deliverables, as well as preparation of proposals, reports and workshop materials
- Mentor and support team members, including task coordination and knowledge sharing, and promote delivery excellence and Agile ways of working
Our requirements
- Strong experience in supply chain planning and planning systems, including SAP IBP and/or SAP APO
- Knowledge of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA, including understanding of core integration points with supply chain planning solutions
- Solid functional knowledge of supply chain planning processes and the ability to translate business needs into technical or functional solutions
- Experience working in Agile project environments
- Proven client‑facing experience, including conducting workshops, steering or status meetings, stakeholder alignment and executive communication
- Experience in leading or coordinating teams, mentoring colleagues or workstream ownership
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced English and Polish (both required)
- University degree (Bachelor’s or higher) in supply chain, logistics, IT, economics, finance or a related field
- Willingness to travel for business purposes, including abroad (approximately 30%)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a project team
