The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on professional with a passion for client engagement and a proven track record in both business analysis and project management. In this role, you will collaborate with clients, business partners, and subject matter experts to define customer needs and develop clear business requirements. Your proactive, curious, and enthusiastic approach will be essential in driving successful project outcomes.
Your key responsibilities
- Design & Document functional specifications of applications to address business and user needs while collaborating with technical teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with business objectives
- Identify internal and external factors impacting requirements and project scope
- Create detailed business cases and problem-solving statements, ensuring clarity and alignment with stakeholder expectations
- Support with creation of Process Maps, Process Design and Evaluation topics
- Document requirements including customer journey, features, user stories, cross-team dependencies, separating core product build vs. integration features, outlining what is in and out of scope
- Collaborate with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring a seamless integration of business processes and technology
- Prepare and present a compelling business case for proposed solutions
- Determine objectives, dependencies, resources, timelines, metrics, costs and risks associated with the proposed plans and initiatives
- Help identify problems, opportunities and methods for improving existing business processes and workflows
- Use a variety of business processes, workflow design tools and techniques
- Support the evaluation of tradeoffs from the incorporation of different elements into the design and their impact on overall functionality, interoperability, efficiency and costs of the software
- Participate in the development of systems during various stages of the development lifecycle
- Execute or And/Or Lead PM/PMO activities (depending on the project and involvement need) including project planning, RAID handling, reporting and coordinating work groups
- Track project progress against the plan, adjusting as necessary. Provide regular status reports to stakeholders

- Experience in bridging the gap between business and IT
- Communication and understanding between stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills
- Business case, use cases, user stories creation expertise
- Experience in process mapping, requirements elicitation and business case formation
- Ability to be the interface between subject matter experts, business owners and technical experts
- Strong workshops facilitation skills
- Proven delivery focus – understand what needs to be done and when and can help the Project Manager and Business Owner deliver to this
To qualify for the role you must have
- 4+ years of experience (2+ in the field of Business Analytics and min 1 year experience in PM or PMO)
- Expertise in business case creation, requirements gathering
- Cross-functional capabilities (capable of working as both Functional and IT Business Analyst)
- Knowledge of Process Mapping and BPMN (capable to draw out L1-4 process maps)
- Agile/Scrum experience (as a BA, PO, PM etc.)
- Proficiency in English (strong B2 level or higher)
- Proficiency in German (B2 level or higher) or other language
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Valid certification in the field of Business Analytics (e.g., ECBA/CCBA/CBAP, AAC, UML,)
- Vertical (cross-domain) and industry experience e.g. in consumer Industries or Retail, eCommerce, Telecom, BFSI, Product organizations or CX Consulting services
- Other certification in the field of Business Analytics (e.g. PMI – PBA)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
- Knowledge and some hands on with Analytics tools (PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, Spotfire etc.) is a nice to have
- JIRA (or similar tool) experience
