As part of this mission, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager to join our Business Transformation Delivery and Execution team, with a focus on supporting multiple accounts—primarily in the public sector—to drive business growth across a variety of competencies, including digital and business transformation. This role combines strategic account development with hands-on delivery, offering the opportunity to shape impactful solutions and foster long-term client relationships.

Your key responsibilities

We are looking for an accomplished Manager—someone proactive, results-driven, and ready to make a meaningful impact. In this role, you will take ownership of delivering high-quality projects while driving business development initiatives within our Global Delivery Services (GDS) organization. As a Manager, you will:

  • Serve as the Business Development Lead within the Global Delivery Services (GDS) team, collaborating closely with EY Accounts stakeholders to accelerate account growth and uncover new business opportunities across diverse competencies, including digital and business transformation
  • Contribute to strategic planning, including proposals (RFP, RFI) development.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, providing guidance and oversight to ensure seamless execution of complex projects.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring long-term engagement.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Proven experience (minimum 7 years) in business development, account management, or consulting, preferably within a leading consulting organization.
  • Track record of driving account growth, identifying new opportunities, and supporting strategic initiatives.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify and convert business opportunities into tangible results.
  • Expertise in preparing responses to tenders (RFPs, RFIs) and developing compelling proposals.
  • Experience in digital transformation or technology-driven projects, as this aligns with the role’s focus on diverse competencies.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects effectively.
  • Sector-specific knowledge, public sector is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English (both written and spoken); proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
  • Excellent stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior decision-makers.
  • Ability to work in a global, matrixed environment, collaborating across multiple teams and geographies.
  • Educational background in business, information technology, or a related field.
