The opportunity
As an In-Office Support Specialist with EY Law LLP, you will provide our clients with integrated, quality services. EY Law LLP helps companies, and their employees efficiently relocate wherever they are needed. You will support multiple administrative business immigration tasks which support the delivery of business immigration services to multinational clients.
Your key responsibilities
As an In-Office Support Specialist, you will join our Essential Services team. You will provide day-to-day in-office support to the staff, senior and management teams in all aspects of business immigration client accounts.
The function of this role means it has a 5 day per week in-office work model. There is no potential for remote or hybrid work with this position. Interested applicants must be able to commit to working from EY’s Vancouver office 5 days per week.
Skills and attributes for success
- Proficient in carrying out administrative processes to support clients and resolve issues efficiently.
- Exceptional record-keeping skills, with the ability to organize, classify, and archive documents and data online.
- Monitor key mailboxes and update immigration data across internal systems, ensuring accuracy through diligent fact-checking.
- Compile and manage legal documents related to immigration processes, including electronic notices and case files.
- Track and validate data and reports, identifying issues for team review.
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment.
- Effectively manage multiple projects and competing deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Adaptable to changing priorities, taking initiative to meet in-office support needs.
- Assist with printing, photocopying, scanning, and monitoring correspondence.
- Comfortable with technology, particularly Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite, and eager to learn new tools.
- Provide ad hoc support to team members on projects and document production.
- Willingness to work extra hours during critical deadlines (e.g., month, quarter, and year ends).
- High level of professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Communications or another relevant discipline is preferred.
- 2+ years experience working in a professional office setting performing administrative tasks such as:
- Document management and compliance support
- Data entry and validation
- Managing correspondence
- Meeting coordination and project support
- Report generation
- A high attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication ability.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

EY reports salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.
- Vancouver: $40,000 to $60,000
