SAP Data Migration Senior Consultant

Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

The opportunity

You will work with state-of-the-art technologies in the area of data migration within SAP landscapes. Your role will involve delivering business advisory services in the field of transformation and enterprise management systems, implementing and coordinating migration processes, and managing the quality of implementation projects.

Your key responsibilities

• Supporting clients in selecting the most suitable business solutions with a focus on data migration and integration.
• Participating in advisory projects related to data migration.
• Engaging in post-implementation reviews of chosen processes.
• Coordinating key project tasks to ensure successful execution.

Skills and attributes for success

• Proven ability to participate in the full cycle of data migration within an SAP environment.
• Enthusiasm for enhancing your core SAP technology knowledge and experience.
• Willingness to travel for business as required.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in data migration projects or ETL-based solutions.

• Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS), including administrative tasks such as managing Central Management Console (CMC) activities, user maintenance, repository creation, and job server configuration.
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA projects and a solid understanding of the software.
• Knowledge of Migration Cockpit and practical experience with SAP objects and import methods.
• Strong experience in issue resolution related to data mapping.
• Basic knowledge of SAP BASIS, including SAP systems, database, and operating system levels.
• Experience in the preparation and execution of test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Familiarity with XML, LSMW, IDOC, RFC, and ABAP Proxy.
• Hands-on SQL skill
• A higher education degree.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience in profiling data.
• Good knowledge of at least one SAP ERP module.
• Experience in SAP data migration RFP processes.
• Familiarity with Syniti ADM.
• Experience in S/4HANA transformation projects involving data migration.
• Proficiency in German or any other language is a plus.
