PAS Mobility - Tax Manager

The opportunity

We are looking for Tax Technicians who support the PAS Mobility department in the preparation and presentation of declarations, registration models with the Spanish AEAT, request for social security coverage certificates, as well as preparation of tax equalization calculations.

As a member of our team in the EY GDS office in Malaga, you’ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.

Highly qualified professional with over 5-8 years of experience in international mobility. Specialized in tax management, including personal income tax (IRPF), non-resident income tax (IRNR), property tax (IP), and informative declarations. Extensive knowledge in the application of treaties to avoid double taxation, ensuring regulatory compliance and tax optimization for clients.

Your key responsibilities

  • Manage the PAS Mobility Sub Service Line in TAX
  • Preparation tax returns of individuals (tax residents, non-residents and special tax regimes).
  • Analysis and application of a special regime for expatriates.
  • Elaboration and calculation of withholding tax and fiscal equalizations.
  • Preparation and presentation of documentation for the Spanish Tax Authorities.
  • Application for the Spanish Social Security coverage certificates.
  • Tax advisory on:
  • Income Tax (IRPF) and Non-Resident Income Tax (IRNR).
  • Special tax regime for posted workers (Beckham Law).
  • Application and analysis of treaties to avoid international double taxation.
  • Declaration of assets and rights abroad (Models 720 / 721).
  • ISGF (Corporate Tax).
  • Coordination and review of tax returns for posted employees.
  • Management of tax procedures.
  • Liaison with clients.
  • Coordination of teams.
  • Leadership, supervision, and development of the assigned team.
  • Identification of tax risks and proposals for improvement in internal processes and policies.
  • Monitoring of national and international regulatory changes

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Tax Management: Expert handling of IRPF, IRNR, IP, and informative declarations (models 720 and 721), ensuring correct filing and compliance with tax obligations.
  • Double Taxation Treaties: Experience in interpreting and applying international treaties to avoid double taxation, maximizing tax benefits for expatriates and companies.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Organizational and leadership skills, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • University degree: Law and/or Business Administration (ADE).
  • English: minimum B2 level.
  • Master's degree in tax advisory is a plus.
  • Advanced level of Excel and Office package

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Valuable master's degree in taxation
  • Previous experience required in services of this type
