We are seeking talented professional at all levels across multiple locations with relevant experience in:
- Strategy
- Commercial & financial due diligence

This opportunity is ideal for candidates currently on—or eligible for—an Australian Working Holiday Visa, who are keen to gain international consulting experience within a high‑performing, globally recognised firm.
You’ll work with some of the world’s largest organisations, fastest‑growing companies and leading private equity firms on complex, high‑impact engagements. From defining strategy and assessing commercial attractiveness to executing transactions and driving post‑deal value, you’ll contribute across the full investment lifecycle as part of integrated, multidisciplinary teams.

You will be considered for suitable opportunities at our EY offices across Sydney and Melbourne.
Your key responsibilities
- Strategy
- Design and deliver strategic initiatives that drive business growth and strengthen clients’ competitive advantage.
- Commercial & Financial Due Diligence
- Conduct in‑depth financial and commercial analyses to assess the health, risks and viability of potential investments.
- Value Creation
- Identify opportunities to improve performance across client operations and develop actionable strategies that enhance enterprise value.
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Lead transactions form conception through to completion which will include target sourcing, valuation, deal negotiations and providing overall transaction management.
- Growth Strategy
- Create and execute strategic plans that support sustainable growth, market expansion and long-term success for clients.
- Operating Model Design
- Design and optimise organisational structures, processes and capabilities to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Transaction Execution
- Guide clients through the end‑to‑end transaction lifecycle, ensuring seamless execution, risk management and successful integration outcomes.
Eligibility, skills and attributes for success
- Hold a valid working holiday visa for Australia and available for a maximum of six-month contract starting soon.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, business, finance or economics
- Demonstrated experience in strategy, commercial and financial due diligence, value creation, growth strategy, operating model design or transaction execution, ideally gained within a top-tier or leading second-tier consulting firm.
- Professional membership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants (or international equivalent).
- Strong analytical, stakeholder and interpersonal skills; comfort operating in fast‑paced, deal‑driven environments.

- Salary: We offer a competitive salary which is open to negotiation pending on skills and experience.
