We are looking for a Lead Data & Cloud Architect who will play a pivotal role in strengthening our data engineering and AI‑ready capabilities. Your expertise will ensure continuity, architectural excellence, and the design of future‑proof solutions across complex enterprise environments.

Your new job

• Design modern cloud‑based data architectures across AWS or GCP (Azure optional).
• Develop robust data‑warehousing, data‑modelling and scalable platform designs.
• Define AI‑ready data platform components including ingestion, orchestration, storage and compute layers.
• Provide architectural leadership, oversight and governance across delivery teams.
• Translate business requirements into actionable and scalable architectural solutions.
• Engage senior stakeholders and influence strategic technical decisions.
• Drive architectural patterns, standards and best practices across teams.
• Coach engineers and junior architects, raising the technical bar of the wider team.

Your skills and strengths | About your unique contribution

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, cloud engineering or analytics platform design.
• Expertise in AWS or GCP (Azure is a plus).
• Strong background in enterprise‑scale data‑warehousing and data modelling.
• Experience with lakehouse, streaming, and ELT/ETL architectures.
• Ability to influence both technical and non‑technical senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity, solving problems without predefined paths.
• Hands‑on mindset while maintaining strategic architectural oversight.
• Proactive, resilient and energised by complex enterprise challenges.
