EY’s Transaction Analytics team is inviting expressions of interest from dynamic and experienced professionals at Manager and Senior Manager level, as we anticipate upcoming opportunities within our growing team. As part of our established and forward‑thinking analytics practice, you would combine project leadership with hands‑on delivery, leveraging data analytics to support clients in making informed decisions during critical transactions. You would work closely with cross‑functional teams on complex and demanding engagements, delivering insights that drive value and enhance performance. Your key responsibilities

• Lead and manage analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality insights to clients.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored analytics solutions.
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform strategic decision-making.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights.
• Support the Partner and Director group with business development activities, including contributing to proposal development, pitch materials, and client presentations, and leveraging transaction and analytics experience to shape compelling, high quality client propositions.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance service offerings.

Skills and attributes for success

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, business, finance or economics, with professional accreditation as a Chartered Accountant (or international equivalent) preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic mindset, with experience across areas such as M&A, strategy, management consulting, corporate finance or accounting.
• Advanced quantitative and analytical capability, with experience working with large datasets and translating business questions into robust analysis. Advanced proficiency in Alteryx is essential, as it is the primary tool used to deliver core analytics outputs. Proficiency in SQL, Python and/or R is highly advantageous, supporting bespoke analysis, coaching of team members, and effective review and troubleshooting to ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to clearly articulate insights through a commercial lens, influence senior stakeholders, and lead teams and projects effectively.
