Due to our rapid expansion, we are now looking for a Strategy Consulting Manager to join our team in Athens. They’ll be a part of a collaborative team that applies the latest thinking, research, analytics, and methodologies to help transform clients’ businesses and solve complex business matters, driving change for tomorrow’s working world.

Your key responsibilities

As a Manager within our Strategy team, you’d assist in aspects of business origination, including pitches and presentations, and attending meetings with clients to help sell work and work in a transaction environment operating under tight M&A timeframes and demands and be familiar working and leading assignments in a large-scale consulting environment or industry role. You’ll also advise clients across all sectors, supporting key decision makers in developing and executing strategies for transactions.

As a Manager in our Strategy team, you will contribute to business origination by participating in client pitches, preparing presentations, and attending meetings to support project acquisition. You will operate within demanding M&A timeframes, leading transactions and assignments within large-scale consulting or industry settings. Additionally, you will advise clients across a variety of sectors, supporting senior decision-makers as they develop and implement transaction strategies.

• Project management – leading blended project teams comprising colleagues from our transactions and consulting practices
• Business and Commercially Driven – working in a fast-paced, exciting environment with strong business acumen to really help add value to our clients
• Business development – assist in aspects of business origination, including pitches and presentations, and attending meetings with clients to help sell work. Contribute to our practice development initiatives, supporting the continued focus on our team as a great place to work
• Learning – Learn and develop technical and personal skills to support achievement of career goals, through a blend of structured learning, coaching and experiences
• Building Relationships – Strong working relationships with senior clients, including influence, advice and support to key decision makers
• Flexibility - Be flexible to support on broader IT & Operational transaction work

Skills and attributes for success

What we look for

• Excellent academic background from a top tier university, including a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or other similar diploma with a strong quantitative focus. An MBA degree will be considered as a strong asset.
• At least 7 years of relevant consulting experience in strategy consulting-centered role
• Expertise across several key disciplines, including Transformative Strategy, covering:
  • Corporate, BU, and portfolio strategy
  • Strategic business model transformation
  • Value creation planning and execution
  • Integration and divestiture strategy planning and execution
  • Digital transformation strategy
  • Go-to-market strategy
  • New market entry planning
  • Commercial diligence
  • Vendor due diligence
• Experience in at least 2 of the following sectors:
  • Government
  • Infrastructure
  • Telecommunications, and ICT
  • Healthcare and life sciences
  • Real estate and hospitality
• A track record of successful project delivery in corporate businesses where you are responsible for managing project team members and vendors
• Strong written and verbal communication skills both in Greece and English and experience of producing and reviewing high caliber reports, papers, presentations and thought leadership
• Management consulting skill set including:

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience in a Big4 professional services firm
• Solid negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally
• Ability to link operational analysis to financial statement, and understand the implications of findings to client strategy
