TC - MENA Technology - Business Analyst – Senior
As part of the TC- MENA Technology team, we are looking for a business analyst who can turn business problems to solutions as per the expectations of clients. The role’s major responsibilities are requirements elicitation, stakeholder management, converting business use cases to requirements, which can be handed over to technical team for implementation. The role also requires effective communication skills and presentation skills and should be the business POC for clients.
The opportunity
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in gathering complex requirements, designing integrated solutions, and facilitate business process improvement via the methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation of all or part of a business in terms of business functions and processes. . You will build valued relationships with clients and other members of our team and focus on high-impact opportunities and projects.
Your key responsibilities
- Identify the business need for the change by understanding the problem the business is trying to solve or the opportunities to improve the business. This may include assessing the current capabilities of the business to support the business need.
- Develop requirements through the elicitation, analysis, specification, and verification. This yields multiple levels of requirements in support of the business vision.
- Manage requirements to the appropriate audience throughout the project to ensure all stakeholders have the same understanding and agreement as to the requirements.
- Ability to conduct business workshops, create business use cases/user stories and work in an Agile environment
- Ability to work and team effectively with Technology teams and other management personnel including on a global, virtual basis.
- Track record of customer focus, based on openness, trust, and delivering on promises.
- IT background with experience across the systems development life cycle with experience in different project phases.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- 4-8 years of experience in business analysis or related technical field (application development, technical product owner, deployment/implementation, and infrastructure).
- Experience in selecting and executing elicitation techniques such as Interviews or Exploratory Prototypes
- Facilitated Workshops, Focus Groups, Observation, User Task Analysis, Documentation Study and Surveys
- Good stakeholder management skills and experience in pre-sales and business proposals is desired
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge / Experience in AI frameworks and technologies will be an added advantage
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to mentor the team members on business analysis skills
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency with tools such JIRA/ Azure DevOps.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
