Vendor Contract Specialist
Your key responsibilities
- Vendor Performance: Monitoring vendor performance, enforcing contract terms, and ensuring obligations are met
- Vendor Invoice Review and Track and Manage Purchase Orders – Review all Vendor Invoices, approve and ensure timely payments. Work with Sourcing team for Purchase Orders, track and Manage the Purchase Orders
- Budget Control - Ensuring invoices adhere to authorized budget and contractual terms. Ensure Improved accuracy, reduced fraud, better supplier relationships, and efficient cash flow management.
- Administrative Management: Maintaining organized, centralized records of all contract documentation
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders (Business Managers, Finance, Legal, Accounts Payable etc) to align solutions with business goals and objectives.
- Vendor SPOC - Acting as the main point of contact between the business and its vendors for day-to-day interactions, payments, and disputes.
- OnBoarding & OffBoarding of Resources – Manage and track OnBoarding and OffBoarding of Vendor Resources
- Governance and Risk Management: Provide project governance, identify risks, and ensure high-quality delivery aligned with ITIL and Service Management best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive the enhancement of methodology and service offerings based on user feedback and client needs.
Skills and attributes for success
Qualifications and Technical Skills:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Finance, MBA desirable.
- Experience:
- Typically, 10+ years of hands in Finance – Accounts Payables, Invoicing , Purchase Orders and Vendor Contract Management especially managing IT Managed Services Contracts.
- Excellent analytical abilities and strong written and verbal communication skills are required. A deep understanding of purchasing strategies and familiarity with contract compliances are highly valued.
- Technical Expertise:
- Experience in any vendor management tool is desirable. (Tools like Sirion, Jira etc)
- Experience in SAP ARIBA, Service Now etc
- Experience in Power Bi would be and added advantage
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, stakeholder management, leadership capabilities, and strategic planning.
